We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Rachel Idol. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Rachel below.
Alright, Rachel thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What did your parents do right and how has that impacted you in your life and career?
They taught me what hard work was and the value of a dollar. Things in life for me have never been easy. I have had to work hard to get to where I am. I have fell on my face more than once. What matters is will you stand back up and throw in the towel or will you say let’s try again. I don’t give up, not if it’s something I want.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
I have been in the business since I was a little girl. I have had ups and downs a lot, it’s just part of the business. When I had my first child I took a break for a while. Then my daughter stared showing love for the business. At age 3 she sang on a stage for a crowd without any fear. So I picked back up and started hitting the road again and teaching her everything I knew and learning more along the way. I have watch he have the same struggles as I did, and told her. You will get a 1000 No’s before you get 1 yes. I would tell people not to give up your dream. Haley finally got her 1 yes and it has helped her be able to show people while she is made of. You don’t know when that yes will come, but I promise it will come. Networking is your biggest need it helps you grow and get your name out there. Also, always be humble and kind.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
I am always looking for raw talent that no one has seen before. People want new faces and to be able to connect.
How did you build your audience on social media?
Honestly I started on Facebook and just getting to know people. Then I discovered musically now known as Tik Tok. There I was just doing like other creative people and just playing with ideas. Then a video I made with my kids and one with my daughter went viral. Then I started making regular content. It’s a great platform for those who are trying to get their face seen. Do know some people can be mean over there but you have to ignore that and keep pushing on.
