Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Rachel Greb. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Rachel, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. We’d love to hear about the things you feel your parents did right and how those things have impacted your career and life.
The name of business, Fig Life, is also an acronym. It stands for fierce inner growth and it was also my mother’s initials. From a young age, my mom always taught to color outside the lines. That is how I chose to live my life, to be me and not let any lined hold me back. This is what it means to be fierce. I also watched her as she helped so many people and had a profound impact on their lives. She was fierce. The way she lived her life and helped others was fierce. I will always continue to color outside the lines. Let’s not forgot my dad. He was my google before google. His wealth of knowledge is endless and that taught me to want to learn more and more. The lesson he always taught me is that it builds character. When things are going well, that is an easy reminder. When life throws a curveball, that is what I use in the moment to get through it. Later, I can look at those moments as learning events and see what was learned, how I grew and what I need to leave behind.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am the owner of Fig Life. I am a life, dating and sex coach. I help my clients find their fierce,, their unique voice and power that helps them create healthier relationships with self and others. I am a big believer in the importance of self-pleasure and how pleasure builds confidence and helps with stress, health and improves sex and relationships. I love helping others. My own journey and bumps in the road brought me here. Sex and self pleasure is often looked at as a taboo topic and not to be talked about. That leads to so many issues. I want to help people to feel confident about their sexuality and normalize these discussions.
I used to run girl empowerment groups. The next step from the that was to work with adults. I realized how many adults needed help with dating and sex. I believe in ditching the rules. Everyone has their own path, pleasure, voice and fierce to find.
I am very accessible to my clients, open-minded and create coaching packages that are as unique as they are. I also offer one time quickie calls to get your dating and sex questions answered.
I am also the co-creator of The Pleasureologists. We offer fun and informative workshops about sex, self-pleasure and sexuality. We also have a lot more in the works..
We’d love to hear a story of resilience from your journey.
I have so many stories. It can be hard to choose. I have overcome a long chronic illness, Endometriosis, and sexual assault. When I think of this question, I think the most resilience I had was after the end of a long relationship. I as with my ex for 15 years. We had a lot of fun in the start and then he became an addict. His addiction was far worse than I ever knew, I thought he was clean. He disappeared for a few days and took all the money. I left a 15 year relationship with nothing and had to start completely over. I had to figure out a place to live, finance and more. I also had to do a lot of work on me to trust again, to find a new way to date and trust, and to really figure out my pleasure and confidence. While this was not easy, it built a lot of character and truly helped me on my path to become a life, dating and sex coach. I believe that helps me understand people more and makes me a great coach.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
Women were not often taught pleasure. We often read about sex being more performative and not about our pleasure. I had to do the work to undo that, to see how important it is to learn about our bodies and pleasure. Self-pleasure builds confidence. It is natural and important. Sex, connection and communication is better when we know and understand our own pleasure. My work is all about letting go of the rules, finding your fierce an living from that space.
