Rachel, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Coming up with the idea is so exciting, but then comes the hard part – executing. Too often the media ignores the execution part and goes from idea to success, skipping over the nitty, gritty details of executing in the early days. We think that’s a disservice both to the entrepreneurs who built something amazing as well as the public who isn’t getting a realistic picture of what it takes to succeed. So, we’d really appreciate if you could open up about your execution story – how did you go from idea to execution?
I worked for all 3 top banks for many years working my way up the corporate ladder. Started to hit a ceiling and decided I want to venture off and start my own CRE Finance Brokerage offering creative Financing. After successfully running my company, people would reach out to me asking if I can help and teach them how to Finance a Commercial Property. Many Residential Lenders looking to do Commercial. This is when I decided to start my Coaching Program to teach everyone how to Finance CRE creating a System.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am an entrepreneur at heart that has found my purpose in helping others strive! I started at 20 years old establishing my own company, a year later I got bought out and went into Banking. After a successful career in Corporate Banking I decided to start my own company and was very good at what I do. I then decided I want to help others also be successful and reach their goals! There was a problem and I found the solution.
We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?
I had to learn to take risks although all odds were against me. My family couldn’t understand when I left my high paying corporate job to start my own company and (start from zero). Growing up in a Hispanic household with my family living paycheck to paycheck was something I had to unlearn and quickly started to learn that I wanted something different. Financial Freedom!
Any stories or insights that might help us understand how you’ve built such a strong reputation?
I think leading my Company with honesty, transparency, great customer service and truly delivering to my clients. So many of my clients have been with me for years and constantly tell me they love working with me because they know they are in great hands.
