Today, we’d like to introduce you to Rachel Elliot. Rachel was introduced to us by the brilliant and talented Warith Jumuah.
Rachel, can you walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
In high school I developed a love of film studies. This lead me to going to college to study Digital Filmmaking and Video Production. While in school, I developed my video production skills and began working in vide editing. From there I developed more skills in photography, graphic design, branding and digital marketing. Through some online resources and in the field work, I was able to expand my expertise and began working with brands to develop their media presence and marketing strategies. I believe it’s important for brands to have a cohesive visual message and for them to understand how they can leverage them to market their products and services.
Please tell us more about your brand, In House Media
In House Media is a boutique creative agency that partners with small businesses and brands to craft a cohesive visual message. We also educate brand owners, helping them develop and execute strategies to create and leverage content for marketing their products and services. We offer a full range of media and marketing services including branding, web design, video production, photography and digital marketing.
So, as we mentioned to our audience earlier, you were introduced to us by Warith Jumuah and Passionate Rebel LLC and we really admire them and what they’ve built. For folks who might not be as familiar, can you tell them a bit about your experience with Passionate Rebel LLC.
Warith and I first partnered up for a Passionate Rebel project back in 2018. I was excited to work with Passionate Rebel because Warith had a clear vision for this brand and a mission to show others a new perspective when it comes to being a passionate individual. Since then, we have worked together on countless projects. From creating a new Passionate Rebel website to photo and video shoots, creating an online course, developing creative collateral to market the Passionate Rebel brand and foundation and everything in between. Working with Warith’s clear vision and passionate ideas has made our partnership beneficial to us both. In particular, being able to create the Passionate Rebel online course with Warith was a great experience. The goal was to create a course to be used as a stand alone course or in connection with Passionate Rebel in school workshops. Warith developed the educational content to inspire and give actionable steps for students to discover their passion and develop skills to become a crucial member of their communities. My role was to create the visual video content to be used to express these ideas so students can be entertained and educated at the same time. It was also important for me to develop the technical aspect of what platforms to use and how the content would be accessed and delivered to the students. This experience was not only a great creative opportunity, but a way for me to also challenge my skills and think outside of the box to create a game plan to execute Warith’s vision.
