We were lucky to catch up with Quishanda Lee recently and have shared our conversation below.
Quishanda, appreciate you joining us today. Was there a moment in your career that meaningfully altered your trajectory? If so, we’d love to hear the backstory.
A defining moment in my professional career was when I finally recognized the powerhouse within me—and decided to stop shrinking to fit into spaces I had outgrown. This awakening happened during one of the most chaotic, yet divinely aligned seasons of my life. I was juggling being a single mother, going back to school to earn my B.S. in Theology, running my own business, launching my life coaching brand, and answering the call to ministry—all at once. On paper, I should’ve been exhausted and discouraged, but something in me said, “This is the moment you rise.”
I remember sitting in my car one day, completely overwhelmed, and the Holy Spirit whispered, “You were built for this.” That moment shifted everything. I no longer saw my responsibilities as burdens—I saw them as bricks, and I was laying the foundation of a life I had prayed for. I began to birth programs like “Girl, Get It Together” and “Birthing Season Ministries” because I realized other women were also stuck between survival and purpose, waiting on permission to become who they already were.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is this: transformation doesn’t begin when everything is perfect—it begins when you show up boldly, even while it’s messy. That’s when you become unstoppable. I found power in my vulnerability, clarity in my chaos, and confidence in the God who called me. That moment didn’t just change my career—it changed me.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
For those who don’t know me yet—my name is Quishanda Lee, but most know me as Coach Que. I’m a certified life coach, a licensed minister, a mother, a grandmother, a businesswoman, and a woman who has overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the lessons of her life. I’ve spent over 20 years in the pharmacy industry, but my true calling was birthed through pain, pruning, and purpose.
I got into this work because I realized that so many women—especially strong women—are silently suffering while still showing up for everyone else. I was one of them. After a series of personal trials, heartbreak, and spiritual encounters, I surrendered to the calling on my life. God called me not just to heal but to help others heal. That’s when I launched Girl, Get It Together—a transformational movement that challenges women to do the inner work, reclaim their identity in Christ, and walk in the fullness of their purpose unapologetically.
Through my business and ministry, I offer coaching services, healing workshops, faith-based journals and digital workbooks, and powerful spiritual courses under Birthing Season Ministries. I teach others how to surrender, how to set boundaries, how to rediscover their worth, and most of all—how to align their lives with God’s will. What sets me apart is that I don’t just teach transformation—I live it. Every product I create, every session I hold, and every word I speak is rooted in obedience, transparency, and the fire of the Holy Spirit.
What I’m most proud of is how far I’ve come independently—following God’s lead without the blueprint, yet building something that has impact, integrity, and legacy. I didn’t choose this path, but I was trusted with it. And because of that trust, I walk boldly in obedience to serve others. I help people go deep—not just into their goals, but into their identity, their healing, and their alignment with God.
If there’s one thing I want people to know, it’s this: your pain has a purpose, but your identity is the key. Once you know who you are in Christ, you’ll never settle for anything beneath your worth again. That’s the kind of transformation I offer—and the kind of legacy I’m building.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The most effective strategy for growing my clientele has been choosing to show up unapologetically, uncut, raw, and authentically me. I don’t sell dreams or fantasy—I offer truth, transformation, and testimony. People don’t just connect with polished perfection; they connect with the real, the redeemed, and the resilient. And that’s exactly who I am.
I’ve chosen to lead from a place of lived experience. I teach life lessons many would label as mistakes—but I call them moments of becoming. I’ve made detours, taken the long route, and even tried to do things my way, only to learn the hard truth: without God, I’m operating in limitation. So I returned to my Father—not just to be restored, but to be refined. And now, I teach from that place of grace, wisdom, and conviction.
Clients are drawn to me because they see a woman who doesn’t pretend to have it all together but who walks boldly in her healing and purpose anyway. My transparency builds trust, and my obedience builds transformation. What you see is what you get: a woman molded by the grace of God, walking in truth, and empowering others to do the same. That’s not just strategy—that’s spiritual alignment.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
One of the most defining stories of my resilience came during a season when everything in my life seemed to be unraveling. I had just walked away from a secure job out of obedience to the voice of God—without a financial safety net, without a backup plan, and without any confirmation other than the still, quiet knowing in my spirit. At the same time, I was rebuilding my business, working on my degree in Theology, navigating family challenges, and healing from deep emotional wounds in both friendship and love. It felt like everything I had known was being stripped away.
There were days I cried in silence, wondering if I had made a mistake. Days when bills were due, and I had nothing but faith. But that’s the beauty of resilience—it isn’t loud. It’s the quiet decision to keep showing up, even when everything in you wants to give up.
In that season, I discovered a deeper strength I didn’t know I had. I launched new coaching programs, published my first journal, Self Love 101, and ministered to others even while I was still being healed myself. I found purpose in my pain, clarity in my calling, and provision in my obedience.
The enemy tried to break me with pressure, but all he did was push me into purpose.
Resilience, for me, is about choosing to rise—every time life tries to pull you under. It’s about knowing who you are, whose you are, and refusing to let the fire consume you when you were built to walk through it. That’s the story I live, and that’s the story I share to remind others: you may bend, but by the grace of God, you won’t break.
