Quincy, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Early in your career, how did you think through the decision of whether to start your own firm or join an established firm?

After working in real estate for many years, I was able to understand the financial freedom given from the lucrative business of Real Estate Investing. Of course, with all these real estate people making money around me. I naturally wanted to be a part of it.

With excitement, I joined a real estate investment firm that seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. This investment firm promised amazing results, but had very unflattering results in actuality. The owner of the firm provided unethical practices and poor judgment that ultimately led to the firm’s demise. Quickly, investors turned on the firm and demanded their money back.The firm, unable to keep up with the payment demands, quickly went into default and the firm’s doors are now closed.

Although my decision to be a part of that firm was not the best one and has cost me serious money, I had not given up hope on real estate investing. Determined to provide a trust-worthy investment platform that will allow for an all-inclusive investment model, while providing transparency and full visibility of the real estate project.

Whether it be for building a high rise or for taking an organization public, financial backers and their readiness to contribute capital is one of the main parts to the progress of any business. Independent of their size, all financial backers give us their trust before they give their capital.

Trust is a fundamental ingredient when it comes to investing. Without a minimum of trust, institutions, governments and entire civilizations fail, turning into parasitic and toxic environments, and inflicting much suffering and pain on people.

My name is Quincy Hogan, President of Quality Real Estate Investment and Development, also known as Q Reid. I’ve worked in the real estate industry for over 15+ years. I have completed several real estate developments that include residential, commercial, utility and technology. My education includes multiple degrees and education from top ranked college universities. I pride myself on understanding the complete life cycle of real estate. My knowledge and experience provides me with the tools to develop sustainable real estate strategies that yield financial rewarding results for my clients.

How did you put together the initial capital you needed to start your business?

The capital needed to start QReid Ltd Liability Co. was from a collection of my stocks, bitcoin and savings. However, by utilizing social media, I was able to quickly gain investors who wanted to not only invest in me, but trusted me enough to invest in multiple real estate investment opportunities. I am so appreciative for the Trust.

What’s worked well for you in terms of a source for new clients?

The word of mouth is definitely the number one source for new clients. Our investors often act like that won the lottery, once receiving a check that is double the amount that they invested! The story of their win, often brings others that want to learn more about our firm and how they too can allow their hard earned money work for them.
