Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Quin Peterson. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Quin thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. Let’s talk legacy – what sort of legacy do you hope to build?
If God allows, I hope my legacy is that I lived a long well-traveled life and that I loved HARD!
I genuinely love people and I love life. I think we often move too fast to notice the sacred in the simple things, like the glow of an early morning skyline or those deep belly laughs that leave you in tears. I want to be remembered for creating those kinds of moments for others. Core memories. The kind that linger long after the moment passes.
Fun fact: my love languages are gifts and acts of service, and not just the tangible kind. I believe in holding space for others. Even if just for a moment, letting someone feel seen, heard, and acknowledged, that’s a gift. That’s love in action. My motto is: “Be who you needed.” Each day, I try my best to live that out with intention.
But more than anything, I pray my son knows how deeply he is loved. I pray he carries that love with him in everything he does. I want him, and anyone who hears my story, to know that you can survive hard things and still choose joy. In fact, that’s my favorite challenge: to keep shining no matter the storm. I want my legacy to be a blueprint for that kind of resilience. I call it delusional joy; it’s the radical decision to keep your light lit, even when the world gets dark.

Quin , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
For those just getting to know me, I’m Quin Peterson. A licensed Georgia Real Estate Agent, Community Builder, and Advocate at my core. I’m someone who believes deeply in the power of connection between people, their stories, and the places they call home.
My path into real estate and community advocacy was never about chasing titles or trends it was about answering a call. After years working in education and nonprofit development, leading conversations around equity, housing, and economic mobility, I realized: the systems we talk about in boardrooms and community meetings they show up every day in someone’s life when they’re looking for a safe, stable place to live. That realization lit a fire in me to do more not just talk about the issues, but step into the trenches and help solve them.
In real estate, I specialize in guiding first-time homebuyers, military families, and working-class individuals who often feel unseen in traditional markets. Whether it’s navigating VA loans, understanding down payment assistance, or simply having someone explain the process without judgment; I’m here to be that guide. I bring a servant’s heart and an educator’s spirit into every transaction, because I know this isn’t just about property it’s about people, legacy, and breaking cycles.
Outside of closings and contracts, I serve as the Community Development Manager for Housing Savannah. My work there is rooted in advocacy building partnerships, raising awareness, and pushing for policy that centers affordable housing as a human right. I also serve on the SAFE Shelter and Shelter From the Rain Board. In addition, I use my social platform for speaking openly about mental health and postpartum healing, with my brand Perfection To Peace, a community for women rebuilding after narcissistic abuse, perfectionism, and/or childhood trauma. You can also find me traveling the world as a Missionary spreading the love of God. Everything I do connects back to one core belief: everyone deserves to feel loved, safe, seen, and supported.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
I believe what’s helped me build my reputation is consistency, connection, and an unshakable sense of purpose. In real estate and life people don’t just remember the deal. They remember how you made them feel during it. I built trust by showing up the same way in every room: informed, intentional, and invested. Whether it was a first-time homebuyer with anxiety or a seasoned investor, I led with clarity, education, and heart. My reputation didn’t grow because everything came easy but because I made people feel seen, prepared, and supported in one of life’s biggest transitions.
I don’t lead with sales, I lead with service.
I don’t just sell homes, I help families build stability and wealth.
I don’t just talk about change, I show up to create it.
And I’ve learned that sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply hold space for someone else’s transformation. Whether it’s a client trying to find their footing in a hot market, a single mom stepping into a new chapter, or a community member fighting for affordable housing. I show up with heart, hustle, and hope.
At the end of the day, my brand isn’t just about business. It’s about belonging. And if we work together, you’ll always have a place to land, learn, and grow.

Learning and unlearning are both critical parts of growth – can you share a story of a time when you had to unlearn a lesson?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve had to unlearn is perfectionism. And to be honest, I’m still unlearning it every day.
For a long time, I thought being perfect was the price I had to pay to be worthy. I carried this pressure to always be polished, always be the strong one, always get it right. But life has a way of humbling you gently and sometimes not so gently. For me, it looked like burnout. It looked like hiding behind accomplishments while silently breaking down. It looked like giving everyone grace but myself.
What I’ve come to realize is that perfection was never the goal, presence is. Progress is. Peace is. I had to unlearn the idea that vulnerability equals weakness. That if I didn’t have it all together, I wasn’t enough. The truth is, people connect to your humanness, not your highlight reel. I’ve found more freedom in showing up as I am flaws, feelings, and all than I ever did trying to present some curated version of myself.
And here’s the thing part of my resilience is rooted in the truth that I knew I hated sales. I used to think that disqualified me from real estate. But I love people. I love advocacy. I love education. Once I realized I could build a career around serving people rather than selling to them, everything shifted. I found a way to turn a system I didn’t feel aligned with into a mission I could stand behind. That’s where the purpose lives in the spaces where we align what we do with who we are.
Now, I lead from a place of authenticity. I give myself permission to grow in real time. I remind myself that healing isn’t linear, and that joy can still be found in the mess. My journey has taught me that wholeness doesn’t require perfection it just asks for your presence.
