Quentin, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What’s something crazy on unexpected that’s happened to you or your business

I never could have imagined my business would have turned into what it has! I was laid off from my job at the start of the pandemic and was unsure of my future, I’ve always had a passion for having a clean car of my own so I just started asking all my friends and family if they would be interested in letting me clean their vehicles for $20 inside and out! At this time I really had no professional experience in the detailing Industry and especially no business owner experience, I had no idea what I was doing. I was using Walmart detailing products and working out of my driveway. I never would have imagined in my wildest dream that it would of turned into me having multiple mobile vans offering high end detailing services!

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Our clients value their vehicles and view them as an investment and take pride in them. Well protected clean cars are our passion!

How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?

Hard work and dedication to setting our standard of how clean a vehicle should be! In the beginning stages, I did not focus on being the fastest detailer I could, I was more focused on making sure every single spec of dirt was gone no matter what it took to get it done.

Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?

I sat down one day and wrote down in a notebook “the perfect customer” and what I thought that looked like for us, as I wrote it all down I was also thinking okay great I know who I’m looking for, now how do I find them… we have 2 major funnels for my business. Google and Word Of Mouth! These 2 are so successful because the customer is already sold on our services before we even speak! Our google reviews are outstanding with a 4.9 Star Google Rating! Real reviews by real customers are absolutely crucial to a successful business! And the power of word of mouth will always be king in my opinion the customer has already heard from a person they trust that rest assure Perfect Shine Detailing is the company you are looking for!
