We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Queenz Of Conversation a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Queenz Of Conversation, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Risk taking is something we’re really interested in and we’d love to hear the story of a risk you’ve taken.
Our entire concept was risk-taking. We entered this industry knowing that numerous people were starting In the Podcast field. We knew we wanted to do something different so we decided to get out in the communities and get to know people and the issues that we were talking about on the show. We are women based and we do everything on our own from Production, to set up and of course the Interviews.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
We started on Saturday mornings with a radio station called Let Talk with Next Level Radio Station. The producer there saw something different in us and pushed us to go further and we did just that. We started the Queenz of Conversation and took off running. We have had the pleasure of interviewing a range of people from politicians, to people that are big in the movie industry, to people that have been wrongfully convicted. We treated each guest the same because we believed they had a story to tell. We advocate in the community by giving out resources or just being there to be an ear. We deal with real-life issues that have been silenced and pushed under rugs. We are learning and trying to push accountability as well as healing so that we can live better with ourselves and others.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Stay consistent, and humble, and put you all in what you believe in. Although it may take a minute to build momentum just know that it is coming with hard work. Also, place yourself around people who are gonna motivate and believe in your vision.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
We started off trying to work with a lot of men in the communities to try and build the gaps between men and women. Many of the men we ran into did not want us in the forefront so they would purposely sabotage events and shows so others would look at it as a failure. Now we have switched gears and are working in the community and letting everyone who wants to collaborate with us come to us. Sometimes you have to sit still and Wait on God to align the path that you need to take. Your concept may not be God’s concept. As soon as we took our hands off our problem God has ordered each one of our steps. We are now streaming to TV station platforms and we are Internationally syndicated. So sometimes resilience is needed to get you back on track.
