Queenie , appreciate you joining us today. We’d love to hear about a project that you’ve worked on that’s meant a lot to you.
My most meaningful project is Queenie’s World! This is my 1st album. This Album explains some of my personality along with my thoughts. I’m a overthinker and I think my Album expresses this perfectly lol. From start to finish you get a glimpse of my Life thru my eyes!

Aww man y’all so my Brother (Randy Boston) used to have my Twin (Moe Monee) n I rapping on a cassette player. I always thought it was just us playing with music and didn’t take it serious because I was like 6/7 at the time. My Mom used to always play old skool music and it always melted me especially RNB! Growing up my fav artist was Aaliyah, Tamia, Baby Face, Keith Sweat, basically any rnb I’m a fan of. Rap artist, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, Trina, Nicki Manji, Gucci Mane, and I can keep naming them. My Love for becoming a Music Artist really came out when my Husband and I got together again as he was perusing his music career as the President of Banditfide. He encouraged me to create my own music because He was intrigued on how I created my music. When it comes to my process it’s unique but that’s what makes me different from others! RnB is what helps me clear my mind to create my music but that’s another story we can get into at a later time. Now I’m the 1st lady of the biggest group in Pittsburgh Banditfide!
For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
My most rewarding aspect of being an Artist is knowing that I’m about to bring a change to music. Knowing that I have people standing behind me who want to see me win! People who don’t want nothing from me but to hear what I have to say. Being able to interact and turn a party up and “Let my hair blow back”!! Rest Easy Jaleesa cuz dats her quote.. which means enjoy life’s moments!! Life short and people be too serious about temporary things. So when you having fun and have no worries. Enjoy that moment!!
What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
Honestly, I feel like us Artist need to support society before we can ask society to support us! You get what you give. Also Society you should be more willing to support Artist regardless of their background. Get their back end story because a lot of us are looking for a chance to change the narrative. Just be open minded that’s all!!
