Alright, Quantina thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
When I First Started Making Lipgloss It Was 4 months after the Pandemic Started. It started out as just a hobby to pass time but eventually It grew on me and that’s when i started to dream of my own “Natural Cosmetic Line”. I’ve always been a huge lipgloss fan but the fact that I was able to sit down and create a product of my own sparked so many ideas that there was no way I would stop the journey. Granted most retail stores sell lipgloss and other cosmetic products but MY products are handmade & from strictly Love,Motivation, and All Natural Essential Oils. I sold My Very First Lipgloss Pair Two Days After Making my first batch and I had no confidence in selling anything so just for me to sell two at once was Major for Me.

My Business Is Natural Glam Boutique. Natural Glam Boutique is A One Stop Glam Shop looking forward to helping women of all shapes sizes and color to feel beautiful about themselves. I create Naturally Made Lipglosses, Hair Oils that repair thinning damage or hair loss, self defense keychains to protect all women specifically college students, and more! I am Also A Soon To Be Esthetician where I would be able to fully dedicate any beauty services to men or women of all kind. My goal is to make everyone feel as beautiful and confident as possible.
What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
The Most Effective Strategy for Growing My Clientele Is Honestly just being me. It cost absolutely nothing to be a genuine person especially in todays society. My genuine love for my customers, for my craft, is unexplainable. I am truly appreciative to any and everyone who has ever supported Natural Glam Boutique in any way from sharing a post to purchasing products everything counts! Always Be You and Never Look At Anyone as “Competition” Being Original Will Always Set The Tone.
How did you build your audience on social media?
From the start staying consistent was a struggle for me. I was working full time and I was a college student. Eventually I made my mind up that business was also a major priority along with working to fund my business and going to school to continue my education. Honestly The Best Advice I can give anyone is Be Consistent. This is the part where things get tough for me. Trying to keep up with my daily schedule while trying to stay consistent with putting content online. It gets rough but I’ve learned if any dream you have is easy to accomplish, you aren’t dreaming big enough.
