Today we’d like to introduce you to Quan. B.
Hi Quan., we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Well it all started in church, singing in the choir at a young age helped me find that love for singing. Also coming from a family of music I just knew music was installed in me since birth. From watching my dad travel across the US singing gospel quartet music and learning about other relatives that have their hand in the music industry. I am where I’m at today because of the inspiration that I come from.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I don’t think no one road is perfect definitely have had my shares of ups and downs, i think one challenge that I have had is identifying my audience and maybe funding for my music career. Being one does it all himself from recording all the way to artwork I must admit I don’t know it all so having that backing or support that could help get into the rooms I’m supposed to be in.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
So not only am I n R&B singer I’m a Gospel quartet singer me and my brothers have a group called “The Sonz Of Zion”, I’m also an entrepreneur of my own clothing brand called “Riches N Glory”, but it doesn’t stop there I’m also a musician I play multiple instruments. I also have my hand in graphic designing and photography!! I may haven’t mentioned everything thing but here’s a few things and I think this is what set me apart from others because I can do it all. What I’m most proud of about all of this is this is what keeps me inspired this is what gives me my drive this let’s me know I have what it takes to reach my dreams.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
Singing my first song in the church choir, this is my favorite memory because I was so nervous but have so much confidence I knew it was my moment to show my talent, I knew it was a moment to make my parents proud and I did just that.
