We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Quamesha Johnson . We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Quamesha below.
Quamesha , thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We love asking folks what they would do differently if they were starting today – how they would speed up the process, etc. We’d love to hear how you would set everything up if you were to start from step 1 today
The 1 thing I would do differently if I was to start over fresh would be… better educated on funding.
I fund my entire business out of pocket so it would be a big relief if I had some education or tools to receive more funds throughout the month to help produce the sales I would love to have!
Quamesha , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I started into the industry of cooking when I was in high school. I attended a vocational school that taught me the ethics and background of the cooking industry. The class gained me many credentials and a great view on running my own business. I always loved baking but I only did it around certain holidays and now I’ve grew to have it as a business. I have been running my business since 2021. I named my business “Sugar & Crumbs” because that’s all that’s left once a person taste my food.
I offer sweets and treats but I also love cooking food. My clients love my cookies those are my top sellers. I love them as well because I impress myself at how many I’ve made. I make a total of 10 different cookies. When it comes down to my customers I always want to expose the new things or their request. Some may send me a recipes and want me to recreate them and I do because I love to see them being impress or even satisfied because not most local businesses around me where I live offer different sweets/treats.
I’m most proud about how I keep going even when I have my days where I don’t won’t to even be bothered I still love my customers because without them I wouldn’t be able to have my business. I love that I’m a go getter. That’s what I call myself I don’t come from a home that was wealthy but I work a full time job and still continue to run a business that’s going to be a franchise because I have dreams that I know I can conquer just by taking 1 step at a time! That’s what I’m most proud of.. the woman I am today that keeps going to run a business that started from nothing.
What I would want my potential clients to know about me? I am very OCD about how I present the orders to you! It’s not anything personal I just care about my presentation.
