We were lucky to catch up with Pter recently and have shared our conversation below.
Pter, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Are you able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen?
For first try as a tattoo artist was not easy. Earn a full time living as a creative is tough. You need to express yourself with art and this art must be “buy” for other, so needs to be as powerful as you can, to create more impact.
Like the first year I only spend time to create a good profile, nice tattoos but regular ones. After 3 years I started to find my own style. You need a good base for that, a base created by clients and good stuff.

Pter, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Pter, I’m a professional tattoo artist based in Madrid, Spain, and working all my over Europe.
My technique is black work, trying to combine most accurate micro realistic pieces with black structures.
I think my main point and the different with the rest of tattoo artist is my way to see the tattoos on body. For me every body needs something different to raise your aesthetic and your potential. My work is about to find it for every client

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?
Yes absolutely.
I would love to see myself, my art, in every possible art industry.
Fashion, aesthetic, style, etc.
Tattoos are not only tattoos, they are a part of yourself that you need to wear it.

We’d love to hear the story of how you built up your social media audience?
This is hard. Nowadays social media is not only post and pictures.
You need to find your people, share yourself with them. Show your life, your vibe, your inspiration. This is the way how the people can find your style in art. Must be a mix of your life and work.
Don’t post whatever, try to create a beautiful aesthetic. Less is more if the content is good enough. No viral stuff, we are bored of that.
