We were lucky to catch up with Prince Nasir Akim Bey recently and have shared our conversation below.

Prince Nasir Akim , appreciate you joining us today. Let’s kick things off with your mission – what is it and what’s the story behind why it’s your mission?

My mission in my business is to inspire and provide a product and service that will help people reach the greatest version of themselves. This means a lot to me because my goal in this lifetime is to leave a legacy of work that will help future generations to come better understand themselves and the world that surrounds them.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?

I began my life as a philosopher when I was around the age of 7 yrs old. I have always been a deep thinker and have always been someone that friends and family would come to for advise. My work in my adult profession is to provide life coaching and spiritual wisdom to those who are in search of light and understanding.

We often hear about learning lessons – but just as important is unlearning lessons. Have you ever had to unlearn a lesson?

One of the first lessons I had to learn was how to communicate my work in way that customer and clients could relate to me. When I first started my business I had a lot of trouble in this area until a close gave me some sound advise on how could reach people by just relating to them in a better way.

What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?

My books played a very significant role in building my reputation in my industry. A lot of the reason why most people are familiar with my work is because of my self help books on spirituality.
