Prince , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Can you talk to us about a project that’s meant a lot to you?
The most meaningful project I’m currently working on is Don’t Hate Appreciate the new Tape I’m going to release. It’s a project with a collection of songs and vibes from these past two years from beats from my dawg Skarr . This is a project that is connected with project forward as my first release with PF. And with Kinyo and I this will be done so I look forward to see both of our creativity be heard sonically. This project will be the first of many under PF. This is a vibe for us and I hope listeners will enjoy it as we do.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Making music is a fun process for me I can express myself in unique ways that I see fit , the thing that makes me different is when you listen to my music you know it’s actually me their is no “ cap” in my music, it’s a vibe you can feel and enjoy . Project Forward is music that moves forward so our brand represents positivity & Vision.. I’m also an engineer so I can record others and they will /might be in this new project that coming out.. you’ll be able to Hear from words and beat how authentic me and features are.
Have you ever had to pivot?
The time I had to pivot was in label switching I was doing business with a partner but our vision didn’t work and also I learn that their label / group isn’t me, isn’t positive and valve other ideas to flourish. So , I left and came to my long friend kinyo to join forces on Project Forward. Me and him and share vision and respect each other growth and worth.
What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?
More music functions can help, more events to bring the city together, share equal opportunity. And respect everyone craft and abilities
