Hi Prince, thanks for joining us today. If you’re open to it, can you talk to us about the best (or worst) investment you’ve made. What’s the backstory and the relevant context behind why you made the investment

Everything changed once I connected with TrapLA – Music Marketing. You can have a great product but without marketing you won’t find your fans/sells. I slept in a car for 2 months & stayed at a shelter on Skid Row to have the investment money to start a promo campaign with TrapLA. My growth has been going up & I’m grateful for the exposure. You have to take calculated risk to gain a certain level of success in life. Nothing comes easy

I’m Prince Dajur, Music Artist & OBM Once Broke Millionaires clothing brand owner

I currently have a music video & music single “Prince Dajur – Out Of Control” that is Available on all streaming platforms. A summer time vibe for sure that is Pop/Hip-Hop genre.

OBM Once Broke Millionaire is a movement, mindset, clothing/music brand & what my whole life story has been about.
We have hats, beanies, t-shirts, tank tops, crop tee’s, jogger pants, hoodies, socks, & shorts in Various Sizes.
We was Once Broke now we are Millionaires that’s the motto for inspired or successful entrepreneurs.

What sets me apart from others is I didn’t quit! I grew up in a group home from the age of 12 until I graduated from high school. Anything could’ve gone wrong but I still took risks & lived in every time zone in America to get that WIN in Los Angeles, California.

How’d you think through whether to sell directly on your own site or through a platform like Amazon, Etsy, Cratejoy, etc.

Once Broke Millionaires (OBM) has its own website that is connected to Shopify & Printful to complete orders to customers.

Shopify is a good platform to sell drop shipping. Printful is a print on demand website wear you can get your merchandise printed.

The pros is you don’t need a storage for clothing because it’s print on demand.
The cons is not having clothing on hand to sell directly without using the Once Broke Millionaires website.

Staying at a shelter while still building your business to success. I took that risk while investing money into marketing to reach new clients & fans. It’s been a little tough mentally at times but we stay focused on the goal Once Broke Millionaires.
