One of the most memorable ways I’ve shown appreciation to a customer was through a personalized surprise gift box. A loyal customer, who had been consistently supporting Pretty Gurl Minks since the early days, reached out with kind words about how much our products boosted her confidence during a difficult time. Her story touched me deeply.
To show my gratitude, I created a custom box filled with her favorite items—mink lashes, lip glosses, a stylish bonnet—and added a handwritten note thanking her for being such a valuable part of our journey. I also included a sneak peek of a new product we hadn’t launched yet, giving her a first-look experience.
When she received it, her response was overwhelming. She messaged me with so much excitement and appreciation, sharing how special and valued she felt. For me, it wasn’t just about sending products; it was about letting her know that her support genuinely mattered to me and my brand.
Moments like these remind me that building relationships with customers goes far beyond transactions—it’s about creating a community where people feel seen, valued, and celebrated.

For those who may not know me, my name is Precious , and I am the founder of Pretty Gurl Minks, a beauty brand dedicated to empowering individuals through high-quality products that enhance natural beauty and confidence. My journey into this industry began with a passion for self-expression and a desire to create products that not only look amazing but also feel amazing to use.
At Pretty Gurl Minks, we specialize in offering premium mink lashes, luxurious lip gloss, versatile lip liners, and stylish bonnets. Building my audience on social media has been an exciting journey. It all started with a clear vision for my brand, Pretty Gurl Minks, and a commitment to creating content that reflects my passion for beauty and self-expression. I focused on understanding my target audience—what they love, their needs, and the kind of content that resonates with them. This allowed me to create engaging posts, from tutorials to behind-the-scenes peeks at my business.
Consistency has been key. I made it a priority to post regularly, interact with my followers, and stay on top of trends while maintaining my brand’s authenticity. I also leveraged tools like hashtags, collaborations with influencers, and occasional promotions to expand my reach and connect with a broader audience.
For those just starting, my advice is to stay true to your brand and your audience. Consistency and authenticity are vital. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different types of content to see what works, and always engage with your followers—they are your community. Lastly, have patience. Building a presence takes time, but with dedication, the results are worth it.
Okay – so how did you figure out the manufacturing part? Did you have prior experience?
When I knew this is what I wanted to do I researched different vendors I wanted to try. The ones I knew I would wear is I how went about choosing a vendor. I would never sell products that I wouldn’t use on my self personally. Now since I’m branching off to new ideas I do trials runs on myself to see if it works for my skin type and go from there.
