Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Precious Melton Montgomery. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Precious, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Do you think your parents have had a meaningful impact on you and your journey?
Growing up in a family full of educators and entrepreneurs alike, it was never a second thought that the trajectory of my life would lead me down either path. Fortunately, my parents set the best examples for my siblings and I to be able to live lives that would allow us to essentially become whomever we wanted to be.
My mom is a retired educator with 30+ years of experience and my dad is an entrepreneur of a funeral home business. Both of my parents are licensed funeral directors, licensed insurance agents and notary publics. With this example first hand, I chose to become both and educator and an entrepreneur. I never felt pressured to travel the road that my parents did, however, the hard work and success compelled me to make the decisions that I made in my own career. I can truly say, that my parents did the right thing by being healthy and ethical examples on what it means to follow your dreams and bring others with you along the way.

Precious, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My name is Precious Melton Montgomery and I am a certified educator with 5+ years of experience as well as the CEO of The Creator’s Cloud Enterprises, LLC. In addition to my career and business, I am an artist, worship leader and musician. I launched my business, The Creator’s Cloud Enterprises, LLC in March of 2021. I saw the effect that COVID-19 had on our education system, students, teachers and parents, and I wanted to provide some support and relief. The Creator’s Cloud Enterprises, LLC began as a tutoring based business, but since its inception, we have expanded to offering media and fine arts to our services. Our tutoring sessions cater to grades Pre-K through 5th grade and ages 4-13. All of our services can be done in person or virtual.
As an artist and musician, I have been singing every since I was a baby and I have played the piano since I was in elementary school. Over the past decade, I have been blessed to be able to serve as the primary musician and worship leader for different churches and choirs. I have also recorded original music and released my projects online and dropped music videos on YouTube.
I love connecting with new people whether it be for education or music. Both of them are dear to my heart and I like to see individuals flourish in any capacity that they are striving towards.
What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being a creative artist to me is receiving feedback from those who I’ve impacted in a positive way. Whether it was through my music or seeing the scholars that receive tutoring from my business excel in their academics. I love to see people growing and it means even more to me when I’m able to cause that positive change.

Looking back, are there any resources you wish you knew about earlier in your creative journey?
Although this is something that I already had prior knowledge of, I didn’t take advantage of at the “right” time. One thing that I wish I had done sooner was start my business, The Creator’s Cloud Enterprises, LLC. COVID-19 hit our world in March 2020 and it wasn’t until a year later that I started my business. The primary reason for this delay was honestly out of fear of not being successful. Thankfully, I have a village of family and friends that have supported me every step of the way and made the risk of starting a business less scary and burdensome.
