Folks often look at a successful business and imagine it was an overnight success, but from what we’ve seen this is often far from the truth. We’d love to hear your scaling up story – walk us through how you grew over time – what were some of the big things you had to do to grow and what was that scaling up journey like?
When I started our business, it was a small operation with a simple vision. I knew I possessed an eye for design and at the time, all I focus on was sharing my gift with the world. The journey from that initial stage to where I am today has been anything but an overnight success. Scaling, for starters was merely learning from the mistakes and challenges I faced as a new entrepreneur. Experience is literally the best teacher. Laying down the foundation, leveraging systems and processes and ensuring that they are put in place. Being intentional regarding marketing as well as the experience of the services offered. Establishing and enforcing boundaries has also been a key factor. Success is not an overnight phenomenon, but rather the result of years of dedication and hard work.

Have you ever had to pivot?
There was pivotal moment within my business recently. Actually, I knew in 2023 that it was time to pivot. Essentially it was just for business, however going through a huge transformation, I was able to pivot (necessarily at that) in life as a whole.
