Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Poonam Bhardwaj. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hi Poonam, thanks for joining us today. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
We started this journey in 2016 when we found there are no options to shop Indian ethnic dresses in Nashville area. It was so hard to find anything good and online options were not of any help either. We started really small from home, we ordered our first sample shipment and did well on it. Everyone loved the outfits, design, quality and we never stopped since then. A big thanks to my sister Pooja who helped me getting first shipment from India.
I want to thank my family, friends and customers who supported me along the way. It wouldn’t have been possible without them!

Poonam, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

The combination garment is sometimes called salwar kurta, salwar suit, or Punjabi suit.
