We were lucky to catch up with Ponleu Prom recently and have shared our conversation below.

Ponleu, appreciate you joining us today. Are you able to earn a full-time living from your creative work? If so, can you walk us through your journey and how you made it happen?

For my creative work, I can generally earn a regular income by exhibiting my artwork. My name is Ponlue Prom, I was both 1994, and I am individual local artist. I’ve always struggled to find the right words to truly express how I feel about art, and more importantly,Why I do art in the first place?! I loved art when I was a little kid even I haven’t fully understood,and lack opportunity to learn. One day,fortunately I had found art school in Siem reaps.I have studied and worked hard to develop my passion painting.By 2015 I had been art teacher there.I try all my born talent the best with every finished work to breathe life into along forgotten culture so that its design, ideas, innovation, and lifestyle are display on my Artwork , canvas and papers. The challenge , as with any recreated moment from the past, is to not caricature the moment and instead captures it in all its former glory. In my world, art is the only horizon. So, welcome to my world; I hope you find it joyful and inspiring. My artwork has brought me both peace and freedom, not only for me, but for people who were long ago silenced ,Thank you for visiting my site. I really appreciate it.

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

Creating a work of art requires a significant amount of time, research, and understanding to develop something truly unique. Additionally, providing personalized touches for clients makes each piece even more special. Original ideas often stand apart from what is commonly seen in the market.

To express the identity of each art form, artists must develop their own unique techniques and combinations. This distinctiveness is what defines an artist’s style.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

Creating art is my way of life; I develop new techniques and ideas to share with the public and honor everyone.

In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?

In my opinion, society can express various aspects and images of its surroundings in the form of fiction, art, and other forms of art.
