We recently connected with Polly Heil-Mealey and have shared our conversation below.
Polly, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear about the best advice you’ve ever given to a client? (Please note this response is for education/entertainment purposes only and shouldn’t be construed as advice for the reader)
We are always cognizant that people have budgets. As such, we have supplements for every price point. Obviously, the purer the supplement, the higher the price. Once I was asked by a client why I had so many different products. I explained about the price point. She looked at me and pointed her finger in my face and said: People pay for what they want, and beg for what they need. It really made me think about how we were approaching our clients. When people are ready, they invest in their health.
Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I am a naturopath who deals with bioenergetic frequencies. We look at the body from a holistic point of view, and try to find the cause of the symptom. We know when we find the cause of the symptom, we can move it, and the body can restore health. In 1999 my husband was diagnosed with cancer, and we did not know there was any alternative to the traditional medical solutions. Sadly, he was over-radiated and died of radiation poisoning. If we had had any idea about holistic medicine, he may not have died. I am most proud of our success rate in helping people regain their health. We use the best products available and we are able to help coach our clients toward improving their health with lifestyle and diet changes. We normally show amazing results within 90 days.
Putting training and knowledge aside, what else do you think really matters in terms of succeeding in your field?
listening to what the client has to say. He will tell you what the back story is, but you have to listen.
Can you talk to us about your experience with buying businesses?
We bought our current business in 2010. I knew the previous owner. The acquisition was very easy. We have tripled the size of the practice.
