Platinum, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Owning a business isn’t always glamorous and so most business owners we’ve connected with have shared that on tough days they sometimes wonder what it would have been like to have just had a regular job instead of all the responsibility of running a business. Have you ever felt that way?
Yes, I am happier as a business owner because of the freedom and creativity it allows me, but it’s not without challenges. There’s something deeply fulfilling about building something from the ground up, especially when it aligns with your passions. However, it’s also a role that comes with a lot of responsibility, and sometimes that weight can be overwhelming.
I do think about it sometimes, especially when things get tough. Having a regular job offers more stability and a clearer line between work and personal life, which can be appealing.
**The last time I had that thought…**
It was about a month ago. I was in the middle of juggling several projects: KAPRishaa, EloQiva, and my YouTube series. That particular day, everything seemed to be going wrong. A supplier delayed shipment, an episode didn’t go as planned, and I was behind on some deadlines for my fashion lines. I was exhausted, and for a moment, I thought about what it would be like to have a regular 9-to-5 job, with set hours, a steady paycheck, and weekends off.
I sat at my desk, staring at my to-do list, feeling overwhelmed. In that moment, I imagined myself clocking out of work at 5 p.m. and not having to think about work until the next day. I thought about the stability, but then I realized that with stability also comes limitation. I wouldn’t have the freedom to create, to innovate, or to truly be in control of my destiny the way I can as an entrepreneur.
After sitting with those thoughts, I reminded myself why I started this journey. I thrive on the unpredictability and the ability to make my own path. That’s when I decided to double down on my efforts, knowing that the hard days are part of the journey, but so are the rewards that come from being my own boss. I came out of that reflection more determined and grateful for the opportunity to be in control of my own career.”

Platinum, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
For those who may not know me, I’m Platinum Nexx, also known as PlatinumFiiii. I’m a model, entrepreneur, actress, singer, fashion designer, fashion stylist and content creator, with a deep passion for bringing creativity to life across multiple industries. I started my journey in the world of modeling 5 years ago with a small business called *Style & Glam LLC*, and since then, I’ve had the pleasure of walking in several fashion shows, including the 2023 TME Fashion Week Festival. I’ve also been featured in notable magazines like *Fashion Trends* and *Style & Glam*. From there, I expanded into multiple ventures, including beauty, fashion, and digital media.
How I Got Into My Industry
My path into the fashion and beauty industries came naturally through my love for self-expression and creativity. I always wanted to create a space where I could blend my personal style with high-end fashion and make it accessible for others. That’s how my brands, *EloQiva* and *KAPRishaa*, came to life. From my modeling experiences to my work in luxury clothing and accessories, I aim to create pieces that not only look good but also empower people to feel their best.
Products/Services/Creative Works
– *EloQiva*: A luxury fashion brand offering high-end clothing for both men and women, with collections EloMen for men and luxury jumpsuits for women. We design pieces that exude confidence and elegance, focusing on quality and exclusivity.
– *KAPRishaa*: A luxury bag and shoe company with collections for both men and women. Our products include bags with matching shoes for women, and backpacks with matching sneakers for men. We’re expanding into monthly collections with luggage and other luxury accessories, giving our customers a complete fashion experience.
Additionally, I’m also a content creator with multiple YouTube series one being *Pretty & Polished* that give viewers beauty tips, lifestyle advice, and discussions on important topics. I also have a fashion show series called *GlamIconicicles* and a fashion event called *QivaTureVogue Expo Fashionin the works.
Problems I Solve for My Clients
My brands solve the problem of limited access to luxury fashion and beauty products that are both high-quality and unique. I aim to provide affordable luxury, allowing people to feel glamorous without breaking the bank. Whether it’s through wardrobe styling services at *Qiva Stylez* showrooms, or vending machines at airports selling *KAPRishaa* and *EloQiva* products, I’m dedicated to making fashion accessible and convenient for everyone.
What Sets Me Apart
What sets me apart is my ability to blend fashion, beauty, and creativity in a way that speaks to a wide range of people. My brands don’t just offer products; they offer experiences. Whether you’re wearing one of our luxury sets, purchasing an exclusive bag, or watching one of my YouTube episodes, you’ll feel connected to a lifestyle of empowerment and individuality. I’m also deeply hands-on with every project, ensuring that my vision comes through in every detail.
What I’m Most Proud Of
I’m incredibly proud of the fact that I’ve built these brands from the ground up, with a focus on authenticity and empowerment. From walking the runway to creating luxury fashion, my journey has been about breaking barriers and creating space for people to feel beautiful and confident in their own skin.
What I Want Clients/Followers/Fans to Know
I want potential clients and fans to know that my work is a reflection of my passion for self-expression, empowerment, and creativity. How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
One of the biggest pivots I’ve made in my career came when I transitioned from modeling to becoming an entrepreneur and launching multiple brands.
I started my journey as a model, working with *Style & Glam LLC*, walking in shows, and being featured in magazines like *Fashion Trends*. Modeling had always been my passion, but after a few years, I realized I wanted to do more than just showcase other designers’ creations—I wanted to create my own. That’s when I decided to pivot into the fashion and beauty industries and start my own business ventures.
This wasn’t an easy shift. I had to learn the ins and outs of running a business, from sourcing materials for my fashion line *EloQiva* to managing inventory for *KAPRishaa*, my luxury bag and shoe brand. It was a steep learning curve, and I had moments where I questioned whether I made the right decision. I was leaving behind the comfort of something I knew (modeling) for the unknown world of entrepreneurship.
The pivot didn’t stop there. As I grew in the fashion space, I felt the need to expand my creativity even more. That’s when I ventured into content creation, launching YouTube series *Pretty & Polished*.
Each pivot required me to reinvent myself. I had to step out of my comfort zone repeatedly, whether it was learning how to design collections, managing a team, or filming and editing content. But these transitions were crucial for my growth. They allowed me to build a portfolio of brands that I’m incredibly proud of today. The most valuable lesson I’ve learned from these pivots is that you can always evolve, and sometimes stepping into the unknown is the only way to reach your full potential.
In the end, I’m grateful I made those decisions. Each pivot pushed me to be more than I imagined I could be. While it wasn’t always easy, I’ve found success in fashion, beauty, and media—all because I was willing to pivot when the time came. Now, I look forward to every new challenge as an opportunity to grow even further.”**
