Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Pitt Lyrical. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Pitt, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.
I’ve been in love with music since I could talk so ill say all my life. What I could have done to speed up the process? Hmm, I probably could of stayed out of trouble so much I believe if I wasn’t incarcerated so much I would have been way further in my music career than what I am now but that only makes me go harder. The skills I think were most essential were my writing skills I’m blessed to not need a ghost writer I have a lot of different and versatile skills and I’m not sure there’s anyone who can think like me ..well I know there isn’t lol. obstacles that stood in the way? my job I still have to work oh on top of that I am a mother so I have to jungle a lot at times
Pitt, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a singer songwriter and also rap artist from West Palm Beach Florida. I’m a very versatile and entertaining artist that absolutely love what I do. I’ve been doing music actually on the scene for 10years now but I’m not big headed or none of that. I actually provide low budget features….for now lol most say I’m crazy but I do register my verses so win win plus I understand there’s a lot of independent artist who would like a feature with me so especially if they from the city I try to look out as much as I can and honestly that’s what set me apart because I’m not a selfish artist. As much as I try to be I just don’t have a selfish bone in my body I’m a very giving and caring individual and I respect other artist who are in it to push their dream and not doing it just because the money and all the other stuff they think is cool. I’m mostly proud of my thrive and dedication as a independent registered artist doing it all by myself. if it wasn’t for my hype girl Staci Nails I wouldn’t be so calm so shout out to her she really is an amazing person overall also be sure to hit her up on Instagram @DanniDivineCreations. In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
Well first we need more fans lol and less fake artist some musicians come out and do this for all the wrong reasons and end up regretting it in the end because this is something that just looked good to them but didn’t make them FEEL good at all. Stop trying to be the best and just be the best YOU. Ill never call myself the best YOU. My mom said there’s always someone bigger and better I say just be the best YOU. Every fan has their favorite if the whole world loves you then ohuuu your almost next to GOD.
Is there mission driving your creative journey?
To be heard not only as a artist but as a writer no matter what beat I touch I turn it gold I believe I’m what the industry needs and ill do whatever that needs to be done to prove my point. Get me and my family out the situations were in and make sure my kids will never have to worry about anything.
