Pierce, appreciate you joining us today. How did you scale up? What were the strategies, tactics, meaningful moments, twists/turns, obstacles, mistakes along the way? The world needs to hear more realistic, actionable stories about this critical part of the business building journey. Tell us your scaling up story – bring us along so we can understand what it was like making the decisions you had, implementing the strategies/tactics etc.
Our growth has been bootstrapped, consistent and referral focused. If we do right by our clients, growth is inevitable. Our pursuit is in scaling the quality of our team, the strength of our relationships with the media, and the growth of our client connections. Only then, after building the proper foundation and defining a clear mission, does growth occur. To quote ‘Field of Dreams’: “If you build it, they will come.”

Kafka Media Group is a creative integrated marketing agency. Our brand is boutique and personal. We are constantly reevaluating our approach and challenging ourselves to think outside of the box. The current media landscape forces constant evolution in order to stand out. Integrating multiple marketing approaches is necessary for a fruitful campaign. We pride ourselves in the wide range of expertise the professionals on our team possess and their ability to consistently deploy solutions that work.
What do you think helped you build your reputation within your market?
Thank you, love this question. The relationships that we build with our clients are key to our success and are ultimately what set us apart. We are deliberate in our process of deciding which clients to work with. Through constant and curious communication, we foster trust and friendships necessary for ideas to flow. I believe it’s those efforts have led to referrals, which is the greatest evidence of our reputation.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
There’s great power in long-term relationships within marketing, whether that’s with the media or strategic partners. We’ve worked with most our clients for years. Part of building that loyalty is constant communication, real-time reporting and honest feedback. By the end of the campaign, our clients can’t imagine partnering with anyone else.
