We recently connected with Pia Jasmin Stehle and have shared our conversation below.

Pia Jasmin, appreciate you joining us today. What do you think matters most in terms of achieving success?

Success means for me, doing what I love. I am sure, when you don’t like what you are doing it is not possible to be successful.
Our mission is to help thousands of women to feel more beautiful every single day. How can someone not love that? But it is not always easy so lead a team and to be successful, I am a mother of two boys and with my husband we build a family, but there is a second family – our team. Stay together on a long term base and daily remind ourselves in doing our best for our mission is a huge task. I am convinced that everything we do needs to be a part of our why. Why do we get wake up every morning? Because we want to live our lives in a good way and we all want to be successful in what we are doing, privately and in business. A good owner and leader helps the team to be motivative and try to give their best to achieve our joined goals. Success can not be always a straight line upwards, sometimes we need to stop, have a look back and learn from our mistakes in the past. A team must have the same targets, only together we can move forward in the right direction. I have learned that climbing a mountain is not only make one step at a time, sometimes it can have heavy rain, winds can come up or you can fall, but you have to stand up and move forward whatever happens during your way.

Pia Jasmin, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is Pia-Jasmin, I am 30 years old and my company name is Crazy4USA LLC and I am the owner of two Deka Lash Studios in Greenville and Anderson, SC.

I am originally from Germany and invested in the company.

In 2023 my husband and I have already decided that we want to move to the US. Thinking about the move and also dreams in our life we agreed that both of us want to travel the world once in our life as well. Therefore we decided to sell everything in Germany and start a travel around the world in January 2024 with our two boys. There was no defined time of how long the travel will be, but a clear goal that the journey should end with moving into the US.
In June 2024 we found the two Deka Lash studios and from the first second I was sure, that is is my passion and that I will make the studios successful. In September 2024 me and my family moved to the US.

Deka Lash is a retail studio that provides high end, semi-permanent Eyelash Extension services at an affordable price in a high-end salon environment. Deka Lash combines this with our outstanding focus on technology and our own research & development.

Have any books or other resources had a big impact on you?

I am always trying to make myself better everyday and therefore also try to educate myself in that way. There are two books who have made a significant influence on the way I lead my team, but also how I set and follow goals.

The first book I would like to refer to is the “The Big Five for Life” by John Strelecky. I love this book since it really helps to make yourself thoughts about your life in general, but also how the worklife has a major impact on your life. By setting the right goals your work can be a great achievement in your life instead of just a burden (like it is for many people unfortunately).

The second book which I just recently read is “Radical Candor” by Kim Scott. I have been always a firm believer that a great leadership is the key to success for a company. Don’t get me wrong, I am still a firm believer, but after reading this book I would even more agree to that a great “boss” is the key to success. In her definition a boss is a great leader which still is focused on the goal achievement by a very open and clear communication. Mostly leadership is misunderstood and people think just focusing only on the wellbeing of the team is all you need to do. For sure the employees must be respected and feel safe, but vice versa the company goals must be achieved as well to offer such a work surrounding.

What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?

I guess this is no big surprise for y’all. One of our best working strategies to reach new clients is Social Media. In general I was also not aware of that Facebook is still more important than Instagram or TikTok. Nevertheless the investment on a proper Social Media campaign (time & costs) shouldn’t be underestimated. Besides this I also see a major impact on Google reviews and therefore I am always thankful if our clients are satisfied and leave a 5 star rating for us.

But the even more effective way to gain new clients is to make our clients happy by providing exceptional service and quality. Because when the clients are happy and satisfied, they will more likely tell their friends about the experience and also promote our studios indirectly. A personal referral counts always more than any nice picture with a promise on the screen.
