We were lucky to catch up with Phylicia Renaye recently and have shared our conversation below.
Phylicia, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What do you think it takes to be successful?
First and foremost It takes God, trusting in Him when it seems as if nothing is working out for you. You need tenacity and Grit to dig down deep and keep going even when it seems like everything is against you. Starting out,I had a pre conceived notion that family and friends would help and support me in my business. This is not true at all. I had a handful of friends and family who supported me, (they know who they are). I learned to trust God and he would open the doors, send the consumers and make ways out of no way.

I’m Phylicia Renaye,founder and curator of P. Renaye Enterprises, a multifaceted brand rooted in faith, healing, elegance, and empowerment. My journey into this work wasn’t pretty, it was birthed out of personal pain, a challenging divorce, and a divine call to help others heal, rebuild, and rediscover themselves. As a Dating After Divorce Coach, Biblical Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Author, Radio Host, and Fashion Entrepreneur, I wear many hats, but they all serve one mission: to restore identity, reignite purpose, and remind others that brokenness is not the end, it’s the beginning of transformation.
Through P. Renaye Enterprises, I offer a wide range of services and creative works, including faith-based coaching programs, deliverance sessions, inner healing, inspirational journals, affirmation cards, bestselling books, and a couture fashion collection in partnership with Katis Couture. I also host Off-The-Cuff Radio on WDRB Media, where Holy Spirit leads every conversation, storytelling and meaningful to inspire and uplift. Each branch of my business is connected by a common thread: healing the whole person, spirit, soul, and body.
What sets me apart is that I’ve lived the transformation I guide others through. My faith is not just a brand; it’s the foundation. I pray, fast, and submit every venture to God before I launch. My clients know they’re not just getting services, they’re getting a safe space to become.
What I’m most proud of is helping people realize that God can use every ounce of their pain for purpose. I want potential clients and supporters to know that I’m here for the invisible, the brokenhearted, the dreamers, and those who are ready to rebuild boldly, with God, beauty, and truth at the center.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
In 2017 During my divorce I became a Biblical Cognitive Behavioral Therapist as well as a life Coach, after a few years I invested in myself and hired my own coach and realized I needed to “Niche” down, that’s when I rebranded to “the dating after divorce Coach”. God is always speaking and every step of obedience I make he releases another piece of the puzzle and ultimately P. Renaye Enterprise’s was birthed! An umbrella for every ideas God has given me goes under this umbrella.
Are there any books, videos or other content that you feel have meaningfully impacted your thinking?
Believe it or not the Principles of the Holy Bible! Gods word in the Bible has attributed to every bit of success I have! Filling the storehouses, my father owns cattle in 1000 hills, I’m blessed coming in and going out, if I don’t work I don’t eat, that’s just an few, there is so much more!!!! You should try it, you’ll know all my secrets!
