We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Phoenix Rosary a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Phoenix, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
My mission is to have Artekai Productions to be the place for many artists and creatives to express themselves. To give opportunities for others to apply their craft, whether it be in a dance visual, music video, short film, movie, modeling, etc. I want to give that platform for other creatives. I know how it’s like to feel limited when creating and Artekai is the fuel to get things rolling but the end goal for my production doesn’t stop there. I seek for Artekai to be the next or alongside with the great production companies such as Warner Brothers, Universal, and Sony.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Phoenix Rosary. I am a film editor, music artist and dancer. My talents don’t reside with just these 3 but they are the core 3 as to where I mostly work on. I own a film production called Artekai Productions. The service I provide are for creatives such as myself. Dance Visuals, Music Videos, Short Films, Movies, Model Reels, Photography, and more. My company provides the equipment, the direction and the platform for artists to create, evolve and inspire. When working with Artekai I want potential clients and future collaborators to know that their vision will be fulfilled and they will be left satisfied. I understand that this is a very saturated field, but what makes Artekai stand out is what it stands for and the content it provides. Artekai stands for creatives who struggle, the evolution of an artist going through their journey no matter how easy things may come and no matter how hard things may seem. Dreams are meant to be fulfilled and not left to sit. Creativity is meant to be expressed and not set aside. This is what equals to people’s happiness and all I want is for everyone to be happy doing what they love.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
I stay engaged in the every day life of each of my clients. Supporting them on social media, attending their events when possible. I have built friendships with my clients and furthermore makes our work together much more effective.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
There were times that as individual self care had to become a priority. I had to slow things down to take care of myself mentally, emotionally and physically before I take on the responsibilities I have for Artekai. We’re all human and I can’t expect myself to work like a machine and neglect my needs as a person. Health is key to keeping a fire in your belly and that includes going out, taking a break, meditation, practicing self love, exercising and connecting with those you love.
