We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Phillip Gunder. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Phillip below.
Phillip, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today I’m sure there have been days where the challenges of being an artist or creative force you to think about what it would be like to just have a regular job. When’s the last time you felt that way? Did you have any insights from the experience?
I would say that I am fulfilled and motivated as a creative because I feel like it is what I am meant to do. No matter what you do you are not going to be happy all the time and that is just apart of life. I’ve always felt like having a normal job/career was not for me. I’ve worked various jobs before and going the traditional route, I knew that I would not be able to accomplish what I want to and be fulfilled with my life. Along the journey you have to deal with the ups and downs but I have made alot of progress and also created a lot of opportunities and that’s what keeps me motivated.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers
I’m a rising Artist from the Orlando Area.
Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
If I had to pick something in particular I would say to just be the star that I know I can be and help/impact people along the way. I think the biggest goal or mission is progression, growing and achieving milestones. That’s what makes me feel alive.

Are there any books, videos, essays or other resources that have significantly impacted your management and entrepreneurial thinking and philosophy?
I would say the single most impactful book or piece of information I’ve read was “Its all in your head” by Russ. Second to that I would probably throw in is “mindset: the new psychology of success” by Dr. Carol Dweck.
