We recently connected with Pha Baby and have shared our conversation below.
Alright, Pha thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What sort of legacy are you hoping to build. What do you think people will say about you after you are gone, what do you hope to be remembered for?
I hope that I leave a legacy of survive-to-thrive and not just live but become alive to people in my circle of influence. With God and real bold intentions not only will one get through life’s test and trials but they will begin to experience the fullness of life in very fulfilling ways. I want to encourage people to live in their purpose and power.
As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
I’m an entertainer-entrepreneur. I invest into rental property and I’m a full time entertainer. Published model, recording artist, working, and sought after event host under the stage name Pha Baby. I create media and content under the Powerhouse Production Group brand. I also own a fitness brand called Fitness Travel Club where I plan annual fitness destination camps for participants to experience retreats in a social atmosphere focused to stimulate fitness concentration and healthy habits even while traveling. If I’m not on set, I’m productions, or sorting out rentals then I’m selling solar panels for residential or commercial use. I did this work most heavily pre-Covid.
My ultimate goal is to leave an impression on planet earth and impact lives. In whatever arena where I have an expert opinion, experience, or point of view that could help navigate someone along a path or create a way to do something more easily, whether it be business, entertainment, health, relationally, wellness or wherever….that’s what I want to be effectively say I did.
The accolades for doing it well is just a by product of being successful. The feeling of accomplishing it is probably most rewarding foremost.
What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
There were some elders that were my hero’s. I respected them so very much to the point they were like mini gods to me. What they did or didn’t do mattered not in the way of blindly trust their wisdom and opinions. I had to unlearn that every elder was an example to king life because some people in general old or young demonstrate dreams unfulfilled and come packed with great fear and a lot of judgment. I relied on someone’s wisdom to guide me along a path of a dream they never were bold enough to have dreamt because of jaded history had made this person. They nearly fear mongered me right out of my destiny. It’s important to seek wise counsel and entrust in the prayers from elders who are faithful enough to believe all things are possible for those whom believe in God and the powers that lie within.
How about pivoting – can you share the story of a time you’ve had to pivot?
Yes in a former business deal where I was naive and inexperienced on some parts of the business model. Well I had bad partners and they were doing so many unethical things to sabotage my involvement in the deal making it impossible to beat nor join them. When presented with an opportunity to restructure within that same co-hort when I quickly pivoted to align my business individually and found true happiness, freedom self sufficiency.
