Peyton and Katie , appreciate you joining us today. What’s the backstory behind how you came up with the idea for your business?
Planning savy was created with the hopes of making planning events easier for our clients! We focus mostly on bachelorettes so that the maid of honor has less stress on top of all of her duties. We take care of the decor, stocking the fridge, itinerary planning and add ons like Bach bags, charcuterie boards, cookies, neon signs and so much more. We even come on Sunday when the groups are leaving to do the clean up! Recently, we have started to branch out to birthdays and very soon we plan to expand to baby and bridal showers! We love you working with our clients and creating a custom vision for each party!! We see so many bachelorette parties in the area and really saw a need to help the girls out since we are both recently married and dealt with all the stress of wedding/ bachelorette planning! The most exciting part is that we absolutely love what we do and have so much fun being creative and making our girls lives easier!



Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
We are an all- inclusive decor service! We mostly do bachelorettes and include everything you need for the weekend including full decor for the main space, brides room and even add ons, we provide recommendations and even do an itinerary service where we will plan your entire itinerary and have them printed, we provide a stock the fridge so you can arrive to your Airbnb fully stocked with groceries, mixers, custom cookies and even charcuterie boards. We are completely custom when it comes to decor so every bride had a different decor set up!
In the near future we want to do birthday, bridal and baby showers which we will have the same concept! Ballon arches, decor and a totally custom experience!



What’s been the most effective strategy for growing your clientele?
Our most effective strategy for growing clientele has come from word of mouth and no surprise but Instagram! While Instagram seriously feels like it’s own full time job we have tried to stay on top of posting as much content throughout the week and weekends to make sure clients can see all of our awesome decor and everything we offer. Most of our inquiries come from social media! We have had great success with just being involved with all of our partners as well and sending each other clients. We work with sooo many great businesses in Savannah and honestly we are so lucky for that, we pride ourselves in staying local and being able to provide our clients with the very best of Savannah! Another way is when our clients tag us in stories or share photos from their weekend it helps so much with our content and getting our name out there!


We’d love to hear the story of how you turned a side-hustle into a something much bigger.
While Katie and Peyton are both nurses we have been doing planning savy as a side hustle for almost a year now and we actually both have gone part time with nursing. We are both happier this way, in reality Planning Savy has become our greatest passion and both of us dream of the day we will be able to do it full time. Our nursing nature is to help people and while we love nursing too we love being creative and being able to do something a little more uplifting. While we both work 7 days a week between nursing and planning savy we wouldn’t change it for the world!
