Caruso Provisions isn’t just a brand; it’s a piece of who we are, a nod to our roots, and a reminder of what truly matters, family and tradition. When the world hit pause in 2020, our brother, Chef Dominic Caruso, left behind a shuttered, broken Manhattan and came back to Chicago, back to family, to launch something that felt real: Caruso’s Giardiniera. He took our family’s best-kept secret—a recipe passed down through generations—and shared it beyond our kitchen, into yours.
Giardiniera is Chicago’s quintessential condiment – fiery, tangy, and addictive. We put it on everything, not because we have to, but because it makes great food even better. For too long, it’s been a local secret, unknown to those beyond our borders. That never made sense to us. Its versatility is unrivaled, and we knew it was time to bring our cities best-kept secret beyond Chicago.

We dove headfirst into an industry with deep roots, going up against companies that have dominated the space for over a century. Breaking through those long-standing relationships wasn’t easy…we heard “no” more times than we could count. But that never slowed us down.
We knew we had the best product, and once people got a taste, they knew it too. Now, the same industry that once shut the door is knocking on ours, eager to be part of what we’re building.
How did you build your audience on social media?
We knew that in today’s world, winning on social media meant winning in business. Our competitors may have history on their side, but they weren’t keeping up, so we seized the moment. We built a social presence that didn’t just compete; it dominated. With high-quality content and an engaged, growing audience, we’re not just selling giardiniera…we’re making the next must-have condiment.
