Pete, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. So let’s jump to your mission – what’s the backstory behind how you developed the mission that drives your brand?
I’m a sinner saved by His Grace. I walked off of an operating table once and I couldn’t walk when I got there. I am a miracle several times over and so….I owe. I owe God. I owe my fellow mankind and I owe myself to maximize the many extra chances I have been given. I continue to rise but only because of Him. I rejoice in His splendor not mine. I am redeemed. I am His.
Pete, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a story teller in every way you can get paid to be one. I’m a words dude. I make ‘em laugh, cry, think and feel with nothing other than words. When words are properly strung together, they can inspire, empower, entertain and change hearts and minds. That is my life long goal and what I live for. I am a roaring Lion. I am a man who has something vital to share. Take heed and listen.
Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I cannot fail and I never lose. Plenty of draws, lots of life lessons but no loses. You can’t lose if you are obedient to your calling. You can’t lose if you put others first. A storm destroyed us last year and my liver tried to kill me too but Im still standing and I’m not breathing heavy either. No storm, illness, pandemic or weaponized inflation can stop me. My message of Hope and healing cannot be denied.
Have you ever had to pivot?
Radio is dead. TV doesn’t pay anymore. So, back out to the hedges and the highways. It’s time to Buck the trends and problems and go on tour and bring hope to those in real need. I will not shrink back from my responsibility as a “Hope Dealer”
