We were lucky to catch up with Pete Barlow recently and have shared our conversation below.
Pete, appreciate you joining us today. Did you always know you wanted to pursue a creative or artistic career? When did you first know?
I saw “Jurassic Park” when I was seven. (Way too young, I guess) I knew I wanted to do two things: Either visit a park filled with dinosaurs, or pretend to visit a park filled with dinosaurs! It seems breaking into the Film Industry is just as feasible…

Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I graduated from Film School (not my wisest decision), and was unable to find work in my field. So, I enlisted in the Army! I was hoping to find inspiration for the next Great American novel, and instead found the funniest people and occupation. It took me a while to work that into my Stand-Up, so I created a webcomic, “G.I. Low”, in between!
In your view, what can society to do to best support artists, creatives and a thriving creative ecosystem?
Not laughing at people when they open up about a dream. I have received so much encouragement, but I have a feeling I am the exception.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on NFTs. (Note: this is for education/entertainment purposes only, readers should not construe this as advice)
I do not know what NFTs are, and at this point I am afraid to ask anybody for fear of looking stupid.
