We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Perek Belleh a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.
Perek, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
So, Golden Ball Agency came about from my deep desire for Soccer and how much I wanted to do something tangible within the sport. Through my playing and coaching career, I realized that I have built a pretty solid network of Soccer personalities that I could work with you helping the next wave of soccer players both domestically and abroad. I then decided that I need to be in an environment where I can find soccer players who would benefit from my knowledge. Aside from coaching, I decided that creating a Scouting Firm would be the next level of my mission to give back to the sport that gave me so much in my life.
Perek, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
I’m a retired professional soccer player who has since worked on my professional coaching badges and have coached at many levels of soccer within the United States. During my playing days I was able to play at a high youth club soccer level as a child. Then I was fortunate enough to earn an athletic scholarship to play soccer and attend the University of Rhode Island. From there I was able to earn my degree in Journalism and start my professional soccer playing career after my graduation. Playing in the USL Championship( Rochester Rhinos/RNYFC), Major League Soccer (NE Revolution) and the German 3rd Division(BSV Emden Kickers). I learned a lot during that time and knew I would have to give back to the next generation at some point in time. I’ve worked to attain my United States Soccer Federation B License for coaching and I’ve gone on to coach at the Club, High School, College and Semi Professional levels within the United States. Through my journey I have met and worked with a lot of incredible soccer minds who I now have as resources to help me assist my clients in reaching new levels for themselves.
Any advice for growing your clientele? What’s been most effective for you?
The amount of care and commitment I give to all of my clients has been repaid to Golden Ball Agency by my clients. There has been a large amount of referrals to GBA by my satisfied clients as they go on to share with their inner circle about home much success they have found through working with Golden Ball Agency.

At Golden Ball Agency, we believe that our experience and network can be of great help to our clients. As CEO & Founder of GBA, my own personal journey within the soccer world helps me understand what my clients may be going through or what they may be feeling due to the amount of experience I have in the field. Having to experience many different organizations during my career, I can relate to my clients as they too may have to deal with an arduous road while trying to reach their personal best within the game.
