We recently connected with Peniel Cromwell and have shared our conversation below.
Peniel, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today We’d love to hear the backstory behind a risk you’ve taken – whether big or small, walk us through what it was like and how it ultimately turned out.
The biggest risk I am taking is preparing to go to Kenya to teach Freestyle Rap Therapy to people in one of the Refugee camps. The origin to story to this risk is that I’ve been doing Freestyle Rap Therapy in low income neighborhoods as well as the Juvenile Intervention Center, which impacting so many youth has led me to prepare to Journey overseas to do work on an international level. I believe this is part of my calling in playin a role in a greater picture that will set the catalyst for many.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
My name is Prometheus Wade, I chose that name because I am bringing light and hope to the darkest places where death lingers more than life. A ghetto Percy Jackson who desires to see change in the broken communities.
I am a Freestyle Rap Therapist and I offer healing and hope through the services I provide. Teaching Youth to unlock their creativity and articulate their emotions in an artistic way has become a life goal of mine.
From what I’ve been told that sets me a part from others is I’m the first Freestyle Rap Therapist they have ever heard of and the approach I take is very unique and refreshing.
I am most proud of people knowing where I stand from an eternal perspective, which is heaven is promised knowing that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and rose from the grave on the 3rd day and by believing in that and asking for forgiveness and inviting him into my heart I am saved.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?
As I Said earlier I will be journeying to Nairobi, Kenya to teach Freestyle Rap Therapy Workshops and honestly I would love to do that all over the world whether it’s in refugee camps, prisons, , schools wherever. My ultimate goal is to be a light in the dark. And bring hope to the hopeless.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?
Prophet The Money has been the G.O.A.T foreal. I’ve played a part as far as Instagram and Facebook go, but we just started TikTok together and just seeing the passion he has and us being a team he definitely has done it.
My advice if your starting to build your social media presence is hit up Prophet The Money because he knows what he is doing.
