We were lucky to catch up with Peggy Haddad recently and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Peggy, thanks for joining us today. Let’s start with a story that highlights an important way in which your brand diverges from the industry standard.
Yes! We definitely offer services beyond the typical “full-service interior design” model, which helps us bring personalized home design to a wider range of people—different needs, different budgets, and those who don’t necessarily want the long-term commitment that usually comes with hiring a designer.
One of our biggest differentiators is Virtual Design (or E-Design), which we launched back in 2020. At the time, it was a bit ahead of the curve—and it’s still a big part of our business today. I love working with clients from all over the country, with all kinds of styles and lifestyles. With our Virtual Design service, we don’t just stop at a mood board and layout. We include a full design concept, floor plan, 3D renderings, and access to our trade vendors, so the experience feels just as elevated as a full-service project, even though it’s all done remotely. We even offer to manage procurement virtually, which may not sound like a big deal before you start a design project—but once you’re in it, it can be a game changer. We handle ordering, tracking shipments, coordinating with a receiver and/or white glove delivery, managing damages and returns, and making sure everything arrives on time and in great shape. It saves our clients dozens of hours (and more than a few headaches), and allows them to enjoy the process without getting bogged down in logistics.
Another offering that’s a little outside the box is my Designer for a Day service. I spend a full day in person with my clients’ in their homes, tackling their design dilemmas—whether that’s designing a full room, picking paint colors, or dreaming up the vision for a remodel. It’s an intensive and super productive session, and honestly, it’s my favorite way to work. It also allows me to take on smaller projects that wouldn’t otherwise fit into my schedule.
And maybe the biggest way I diverge from the standard? I truly collaborate with my clients. I don’t design to my style—I design to theirs. I want their homes to feel like them, not just another trendy space pulled from Instagram. If you take a peek at my portfolio, you’ll see a wide range of styles represented. That’s intentional. During the onboarding process, I use a combination of questionnaires, a detailed style survey, and inspiration images to really understand each client’s taste and goals. Then we have a collaboration call to make sure the vision feels spot on before we move forward. It’s all about making sure we’re aligned and excited about what we’re creating together. The result is a space that truly feels like the client’s style, but often a little more dramatic, more layered, maybe a little more colorful than they first envisioned.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
Hi! I’m Peggy, founder of Peggy Haddad Interiors, an interior design studio based in Denver, Colorado. I’m a former CPA turned creative, which means I bring both precision and intuition to every project. I’ve always had a deep love for spaces and how they make us feel. What drew me in wasn’t just the beauty of design, but the way it can completely transform how we live and feel in a space. I believe a well designed home nurtures joy, comfort, rest, and hospitality.
Over the years, I’ve become known for creating spaces that are full of texture, color, and character—but in a way that still feels calm and intentional. I love getting into the details, sourcing unique pieces, and pulling it all together so a home really flows. The best part is when a client walks in and says, “This feels like me.” That’s always the goal, making a space feel personal and meaningful.
I offer a range of services to meet different needs, whether you’re looking for expert help from afar or want someone to handle every last detail locally. My Full-Service Design is ideal for Denver-area families and professionals who want a high-end, turnkey experience. From concept to completion, I take care of everything: space planning, sourcing, procurement, project coordination, and final styling. I also offer Virtual Design nationwide, which delivers a fully customized plan you can implement at your own pace, and Designer for a Day—an in-home, power-packed session that’s perfect for clients who want quick, expert direction.
What I hope sets me apart is I don’t believe in copy-paste design. Instead, I listen closely, dig deep into the details, and design spaces that reflect who you are, not just what’s trending. Anytime I’m meeting with a client, I’ve got my old trusty notebook in hand, jotting everything down. It’s my “primary source” material—the place where all the little details live that end up shaping a home that’s truly personal and one-of-a-kind. I’m not here to push a signature style—I’m here to help you uncover yours, and bring it to life in a way that feels beautiful, functional, and livable.
Off-duty, you can usually find me in Denver with my husband, two daughters, our very spoiled ragdoll cat, and a tennis racquet in hand. I’m most proud of the way this business has grown organically through relationships, word of mouth, and a shared belief that home matters. Whether you’re local or working with me virtually, I’m here to make the design process easy, inspiring, and yes—even fun.

We’d love to hear about how you keep in touch with clients.
The majority of my local clients have actually been friends or neighbors, which means I see them often and stay connected long after the project wraps. If a lampshade breaks or they need help finding someone to professionally clean their sofa, I’m always happy to jump in and help. When people you know personally hire you, the stakes feel higher—but I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.
I make it a priority to make sure every detail is right and any issues are resolved 100%. I want my clients to feel truly cared for—not just during the project, but long after. Word of mouth has been the foundation of my business from the beginning, and I’m proud that so many of my clients turn into repeat clients and friends.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?
Oh, without question, reveal day. When my clients walk into their home, overwhelmed and overjoyed, after everything’s been installed and styled (furniture, art, decor) it’s the best feeling. Their reactions make all the long hours and behind the scenes problem-solving worth it.
There’s just something so special about seeing someone have all the emotions about their new home. To know they’re going to enjoy it with their family, invite friends over, and finally feel settled, it makes me so fulfilled and grateful to be a part of that.
