We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Pedro Rueda a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Pedro, looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. We’d love to hear the story of how you went from this being just an idea to making it into something real.

Ever since I was a kid I have always wanted to be a photographer. When I started high school, I got into this photography class and that is where I officially fell in love with it. I had a period of my life where the passion for photography started to fade. However, with my photography class, I had that spark come back. In the second year of high school, I had this idea to start a podcast with one of my friends. When creating the podcast, I wanted a creative name for it. I wanted to create a name that has something to do with the universe. So with that being said, I rewrote the word, universe and change the letters around. After changing the words around, I created the name of Inversical. After creating the names I made a podcast. After that, in the third year of my photography class, I moved my podcast name into my Photography business. From there I have made my photography and apparel design with the name of Inversical. After graduating, I officially launched my photography business. I was so inspired by my photography teacher that taught me everything of photos, design, editing, and so much more.

Pedro, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

My name is Pedro Rueda. I am the Founder and Owner of the company called Inversical. I have two different areas of my business. I have a photography and apparel business. I have five years of experience of both photography, editing, and designing. This all started in high school where my teacher Kiley Craft taught me what I do now. He is one of the most inspirational people I know. He helped me move forward with my journey into creating and pursuing my passion for photography and apparel design. In the photography area, I take photos and edit them and depending on the client, I give them the option of a digital version, physical version, or both. In the apparel design I make design made by me. I spend a good amount of time to design things via Illustrator. My company’s motto is that I would like to capture memories at a affordable price. I believe that everyone deserves to keep memories whenever they want. We want the best quality and quantity for our clients at an affordable price. One of my problems that I have solved was when I needed to finish a work in a week and submitted. I was able to work on it and finished it in four days. Another problem was when my designs don’t come out the way I need it to. A way I fix it is that I go step by step to the finish line. I never give up. I am always so dedicated. That is what sets me apart others. I want to finish it and dedicate my time to do the best for my clients. I always want everything the best for my clients and affordable as well. I am very proud of all I have done. The time I was mostly proud of is when I took photos for a baptism where I was able to capture all the happy moments of the day. I was also able to offer my services for free for that family. These are a few photos of the ones I took.

Is there mission driving your creative journey?

Our mission in the business is to maintain our prices at an affordable price for everyone. we are not here to over charge our clients. We are here to serve our clients the best quality and quantity of our product we can give at an affordable price. We at Inversical would like to keep our clients happy and satisfied. Everyone deserves to keep and cherish their memories at an affordable price without paying a big price.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative in your experience?

The most rewarding aspect is when I get to see the live reactions to the finished products. Whether it is the edited photos or the complete apparel design, it is always a nice experience to see the surprised and happy look in their face when they see the final product. It brings me so much joy to see that they are enjoying their product and having a great time with it. All throughout the process of completing the project, the awarding part is always the final part.
