We recently connected with Pedro Rodriguez and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Pedro, thanks for joining us today. Learning the craft is often a unique journey from every creative – we’d love to hear about your journey and if knowing what you know now, you would have done anything differently to speed up the learning process.

I learned from getting thrown into the fray and learning on the spot. I feel the learning process was set for me to succeed because in only 2 years I got the hang of it all. Skills that are essential as a creative are on the fly thinking and punctuality. At the moment no obstacles stand in the way of learning more.

Pedro, before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?

My name is Pedro Rodriguez, I am from Miami Florida, I am a hard dance dj that goes by “The Intern”. I also like to workout

I got into the industry but asking the person involved if I can help. Eventually they trusted me to handle bigger jobs and perform at bigger shows.

I think what sets me apart is my work ethic, I’ve always had a strong work ethic since I was a kid. The moment I realized I started getting bigger jobs, I realized I need to be in peak condition so I can perform better.

Right now I am proud that I have found a team that I can trust, I’m truly honored to be involved with them.

Right now my main goal is to learn music production. I already know the science of Dj’ing but I’d love to learn how to make my own sound that people will like.

What can society do to ensure an environment that’s helpful to artists and creatives?

Engaging in posts is a great way to support your favorite creatives. It will also help them land more opportunities coming from a promoter stand point.

What do you think is the goal or mission that drives your creative journey?

I wish to bring something to the world that is fun and happy.
