We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Peachie P. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Peachie below.
Peachie , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Are you happy as a creative professional? Do you sometimes wonder what it would be like to work for someone else?
I am happy that I chose this path because it never worked out at any regular job. I have been working since 16 and I never felt like I was being paid what I was worth or emotionally fulfilled. Even though I have just started 2 years ago podcasting and I have made more connections and life long worthy experiences that I would never get by being in employment with someone else. I guess because I have a vision and instead of me nurturing someone else’s it’s a different form of satisfaction.

Peachie , before we move on to more of these sorts of questions, can you take some time to bring our readers up to speed on you and what you do?
My father was a musician so I have always had a love and passion for music. When I was 19 I started rapping and for about after 10 years I slowed down. One day I was hanging with peers getting ready for an event that I was invited to judge an edibles competition, and one of them had the idea to have a live cannabis podcast. We did about 3 live episodes before we went our separate ways. I loved it so much that my company was started that same week. I was able to learn some of the business from a former colleague but after we went our separate ways I enrolled in school. After I learned cameras, radio and television production I took off from there. While I was enrolled in school I made music videos, newscasts, radio commercials, and other work that I needed for my business. I felt good because I have created a 420 friendly platform where people can express themselves creatively. I have visual and audio podcasts, and now a new music video show for artist. I also do videography for 420 events, behind the scenes footage, and live music artists performances.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
People being fulfilled in some way and inspired is the most rewarding. Every show or podcast that I have done people have been inspired to keep going in whatever path they are pursuing at that time. That drives me and keeps me going because I feel my calling is to inspire people to not give up on anything you want to do.
Any resources you can share with us that might be helpful to other creatives?
I believe everything revealed itself in the time that it needed to. I was kind of thrown into my journey from the universe and I believe that I had to got through certain experiences to really learn what I needed at the right time.
