Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Paulina Rangel. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Paulina , appreciate you joining us today. Can you talk to us about a risk you’ve taken – walk us through the story?
Setting foot on the path to becoming a massage therapist wasn’t a choice I initially envisioned for myself, yet every decision I made ultimately let me there. For years, I was stuck in a stable yet unsatisfying corporate role, where financial stability overshadowed any sense of personal fulfillment. Nevertheless, a deep yearning to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives remained within me. Taking the leap into a new career raised more than a few eyebrows, but it was a radical step I felt compelled to take.
The words of my late grandma always stayed with me. She believed that I was meant to make a difference in people’s lives and urged me to stay true to my origins, always with a warm smile on her face. It took me two years after finishing school to gather the courage to embark on my path as a massage therapist. This journey has been incredibly fulfilling and continues to fill me with passion. Witnessing the positive transformations in my clients’ lives is truly heartwarming.
Accepting the label of “healer” that clients often give me took many years. Now, I embrace it, fully aware that I am a catalyst for others to perform their own healing. I am grateful for their trust in me, and I value the personal and professional growth from this experience.
I believe we all possess the innate ability to be healthy and strong. Unfortunately, our culture often fails to educate us on how our bodies function to support us. We are conditioned to distrust our brilliant mind-body message system, which we can always count on to guide us.

Paulina , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
Hi, I am Paulina. I am an intuitive licensed massage therapist dedicated to helping people live with less pain and distress through hands-on therapeutic massage.
I was born in a small town in Celaya, Gto Mexico, and moved to Atlanta when I was young. My childhood in Mexico was filled with beautiful experiences that set the core foundations of who I am today. After moving to Atlanta, I continued my education and completed my bachelor’s in business administration in Sports Management at Life University. While experiencing Life, I eventually felt guided to work with people, which led me to the Atlanta School of Massage. There, I earned my foundational certifications, which led me to create Ignite Massage + Bodywork to share my innate passion and purpose for holistic healing with the community. This education has been instrumental in shaping my career and passion for helping others through the art of massage therapy.
From a young age, I was strongly motivated towards holistic care; my abuela Trinidad had always had a homemade balm for any aches, hot tea, or oil fusion to massage. She loved essential oils and plants. Being around her and learning the essentials things in life left me with a profound inclination to serve people.
My passion for therapeutic massage is centered on using intuitive modalities and techniques to help individuals reconnect with their authentic selves. Through this journey, I discovered the profound impact of sound & energy work, which sparked a curiosity about looking within to find inner strength and achieve balance in the mind, body, and soul. Early in my career, I was fortunate to learn from several deeply insightful teachers. They showed me how various forms of touch therapies extend beyond the physical body, reaching into all the layers and aspects of our being.
I recently established Ignite Massage + Bodywork, LLC. When I graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage in 2018, I hadn’t planned on starting my practice. However, in 2023, an unexpected opportunity arose, prompting me to take the leap of faith. Before this, I spent years renting rooms in chiropractic offices, which helped me build a loyal clientele along the way.
