We were lucky to catch up with Paula Rosero recently and have shared our conversation below.
Paula, appreciate you joining us today. What’s the best or worst investment you’ve made (either in terms of time or money)? (Note, these responses are only intended as entertainment and shouldn’t be construed as investment advice)
I think when it comes to makeup artistry you need to have talent but education is also important. I’m happy I invested in my career, it could be shocking putting larges amount of money into one thing. But when you see it later in the future it all makes sense

Paula, love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?
My Name is Paula Rosero I’m a 23 year old makeup artist living in new york city. I’m also a content creator, my content is very diverse, it could go from makeup to restaurant recommendations, to also a little bit of poetry.
I’ve had to do many jobs in order to pursue my dreams, retail, restaurant industry, freelance and more. So trust me I have some good stories!

How can we best help foster a strong, supportive environment for artists and creatives?
Consuming things! Specially here in the US we love the capitalism, so take that energy into consuming art. Shows! Tv! Poetry! Go to your local comedy show bar, stream the band from your hometown, hire a makeup artist from your own city. Consume it, support it and share it!

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?
Seeing your work (your art) somewhere. In my case as a makeup artist seeing makeup on someone. Having clients feeling grateful about the look you just did. If I talk about social media, posting my poems, videos and seeing people sharing those as if they own them. Seeing people share your art makes everything worth it
