We were lucky to catch up with Paula Radvansky recently and have shared our conversation below.
Paula , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. Are you happier as a creative? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job? Can you talk to us about how you think through these emotions?
I am very happy as an Artist and Designer. I have many creative ideas and visuals and I really need an outlet. It is rewarding to see designs and visual ideas come to life. Most of my ideas are focused on providing the viewer a moment of happiness. For this reason my art and designs work well in healthcare settings, hotels and resorts and corporate offices.

As always, we appreciate you sharing your insights and we’ve got a few more questions for you, but before we get to all of that can you take a minute to introduce yourself and give our readers some of your back background and context?
PBR stands for Paula B Radvansky. Paula is a Dallas, Texas artist with an Art and Business degree from Texas Womans University. She has a background in drafting and design and has worked in architectural, industrial and retail design. She has been painting in her studio in Dallas for the last 15 years. Now with an established product line and an online store she is focused on placing her art in Healthcare, Senior Living and Hotels. There are always new projects in the works and commissioned projects are welcome. Please reach out and contact her at 817-627-4105 or email at [email protected]

Is there a particular goal or mission driving your creative journey?
My goal in my creative journey is to see my art and designs in public places providing uplifting energy, optimism and a moment of happiness to many viewers. In our everyday life we are exposed to many visual images and sometimes these are not uplifting. Art in healthcare facilities is an important element for nurturing patients and caretakers. Art in hotels provides a comforting element and art in senior living residence can bring the outside inside and create a community atmosphere. Art has the power to transform an environment without people even knowing what it was that brought them a moment of happiness and comfort.

For you, what’s the most rewarding aspect of being a creative?
The most rewarding aspect of being an artist or creative is bringing optimism, hope and happiness to people from all walks of life. Art can shine a light on darkness and art can show people the way. Words make statements but art can invoke emotion, thought and new perspectives.
