Patrick, thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What was it like going from idea to execution? Can you share some of the backstory and some of the major steps or milestones?
Back in 2022 my college baseball coach/mentor passed away. He was full of life, and he helped so many people on and off the field in his 30 years of working at the college. We shared a lot of interest, and one was helping people. I always talked about how much I love helping people and he supported me suggested me running a wellness business. He always wanted me to be a life/health coach because he knew how much I loved helping people but also how I connected people was a gift I had. After he passed, I went on to complete my Life & Health Coach Certification. Then soon after that I got certified in mental performance so I can help athletes and non-athletes. The last two years I’m using my talents to connect with people and help them in various different ways in my wellness business. I named my business after my coach because he was the one that inspired me to make a difference for people and do what I love help people.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.

How did you build your audience on social media?
When I started my business first thing I did was build my social media up. I started with Instagram, and I would follow everyone in my field and people I had interest from learning from. I watched video after video of other content creators and adapt to building up my foundation. It took time but my goal is to upload a video every day on my page and have been doing that for last couple weeks and have made a lot of progress. My advice is to keep posting.

Can you share a story from your journey that illustrates your resilience?
I had difficult situation when this one time I had an opportunity to work with a football team. I was schedule to speak with the team about mental performance. It was going be a PowerPoint and discussion that was planned with the team. I planned for about two weeks for this event. The night of the event I got there for the event, the coach pulls me aside outside and told me they weren’t interested anymore. It was out of the blue and very confused about what just happen. We had great conversations over the phone and zoom about what I wanted to do. We’re on the same page and I was really excited to work with more athletes. All that prep and time I took to prepare was a lot, but I looked at the positive that I was prepared and ready it just wasn’t my time. Shortly after another football team from the same conference reached out to me and asked for me to work with them. So, it all worked out!
