We recently connected with Patrick Greenwood and have shared our conversation below.
Patrick, thanks for taking the time to share your stories with us today Almost every entrepreneur we know has considered donating a portion of their sales to an organization or cause – how did you make the decision of whether to donate? We’d love to hear the backstory if you’re open to sharing the details.
Proceeds from my novel “Sunrise in Saigon” and coffee sales from my website – www.cyclewriter3espresso.com will go to the ‘Helmets for Kids’ program by Child Health Initiative’s regional NGO partner, AIP Foundation, in Vietnam and Cambodia. In both countries, thousands of children receive subsidized helmets and road safety education through AIP Foundation’s award-winning schools-based ‘Helmets for Kids’ program.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I have been a mentor and coach for many up-and-coming sales teams representing various products and industries, helping them achieve President’s Clubs and other industry acknowledgments.

What’s a lesson you had to unlearn and what’s the backstory?
The novel “Sunrise in Saigon” touched deeply on the underlining journey everyone carries in their heart. We all have a deep desire to do something in life. Often we live with so much regret for not taking that step, that trip, or that new job.
This novel is about Jack Kendall’s choice to go to Vietnam to fulfill that desire within him, knowing the consequences that could follow.
Have you ever had to pivot?
Part of the story “Sunrise in Saigon” is based on actual events. Most of the story is fictional, however, their several plots are based on actual events.
