Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Patricia Olga Peuschold. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Patricia Olga, appreciate you joining us today. Do you take vacations? How do you keep things going – any advice for entrepreneurs who feel like they can’t step away from their business for a short vacation?
“Travel makes one modest, you see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.” ~~Gustave Flaubert
Travel has become a large part of my business. In a typical year, I am traveling 5-6 months. These pilgrimages, adventures, or wanders have created many of themes and focus of my jewelry creations. After each roam, I curator pieces inspired by the journey I am partaking in. As a traveler, I am choosing to explore, experience, and engage in this amazing world we share. The gifts I receive are endless and impact me deeply.
Awesome – so before we get into the rest of our questions, can you briefly introduce yourself to our readers.
I am Patricia Olga Peuschold; an Argentine Polish Immigrant Jewelry Artist living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am drawn to historical, sacred, and romantic treasures that are embedded with beauty and meaning.
Adornment is a passion that continues to grow after each of my journeys throughout the world. Creating necklaces is my talent. The necklaces I create are made using a technique called “rosary chain.” Each necklace is made of either gemstones, wood, horn, bone, metal, or pearl beads.
Then I search for amulets, medallions, charms, pendants, or treasures from all over the world to add adornment to the chain.
I offer the best I can find ~ genuine antique finds, vintage keepsakes, heartfelt mementos, and newer treasures. All of the objects that I acquire have a timeless beauty and soul that I connect with and represent the passage of time. The necklaces act as loving, keepsakes, mementos, and timeless reminders of significant moments in our life.
Each necklace is one of a kind and unique.
I cherish the memories of where each treasure was found.
Thank you for supporting my dream.
How’d you build such a strong reputation within your market?
Curating one of a kind pieces in my signature rosary chain is what has made my necklaces unique. My customers love that their necklace is one of a kind and has traveled across the globe to be curated.
How do you keep in touch with clients and foster brand loyalty?
Partaking in annual city events, pop-up show, and markets is highly important. In addition, contacting customers after each journey and sharing what I created is also very valuable.
