Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Patrice Roberts-Jones. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, Patrice thanks for taking the time to share your stories and insights with us today. What’s the best advice you ever gave to a client? How did they benefit / what was the result? (Please note this response is for education/entertainment purposes only and shouldn’t be construed as advice for the reader)
The best advice I ever gave to a client?
This was about 1 year ago, it was a first time client coming in for a service. During the service, she mentioned that she suffered from Bacteria Vaginosis (bacteria overgrowth in the vagina), this is very common amongst women. She told me that she went to different Dr.’s and they would give her medicine and if it cleared up, it would be short lived. I told her I wanted her to try the Yoni Feminine Soap I created. I offered it to her for free because I am that confident in my products. She said she would pay for it and try it but I’ll be honest she didn’t look hopeful. She later reached out to me raving about my soap, she said it helped her so much and she started purchasing (6) bars at a time. She hasn’t had any issues since using my soap. Also, several months later, she got a rash on her neck, she used my Yoni soap and said it cleared her rash. When I hear how I’ve helped someone in this way I’m so grateful that I followed my calling.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers.
My name is Patrice Roberts-Jones, I got into the Spa industry because I was at work (at an Insurance agency) watching videos on Instagram. I saw an Esthetician doing a Vajacial (Facial for a woman’s intimate area) on her client. I was drawn to it and started researching more information, then I started seeing waxing videos and knew becoming an Esthetician was what I wanted to do. My former boss, Delores Armstrong, also writes commercial policies and I would hear her tell Cosmetologist’s, “congratulations, for stepping out on faith” when they would go there to get insurance.
I knew I wanted that to be one day, I wanted to leave the insurance industry and become an Esthetician. I was nervous to make the leap but literally every time I thought about the school I wanted to attend, I would see synchronized numbers guiding me and telling me it was okay and I was going in the right direction. Although, I worked in insurance I also had an online business selling crystals, wire wrapped jewelry I make and body butters …..etc.
What sets me apart from others is definitely my authenticity. I see so many people trying to become someone different just to be famous. I move by mood, and emotions and being someone I’m not is something I’m not interested in.
I make several products, soap, body butter, exfoliates, Turmeric masks, loose leaf teas and the list goes on.
I am most proud of me that I didn’t let fear or me being complacent get in the way of me moving into a new location for my business. It’s bigger, it’s quiet and it’s perfect for me and my clients.
I want my followers and fans to know that I looooove to educate them. It brings me joy to teach them about their skin and the ways their diet can increase their breakouts. I also loooove (lol) creating products that gives them the results they need.

Can you tell us about what’s worked well for you in terms of growing your clientele?
Hands down, the most effective way to grow your clientele, is word of mouth. Word of mouth and clients leaving reviews will get a prospective clients to book.

Do you think you’d choose a different profession or specialty if you were starting now?
If I could go back, I would absolutely choose the same profession. I love what I do and I love helping women and men. It’s a passion of mine and I knew at an early age that my calling was to help others.
