Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Patrice Perkins. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Patrice , thanks for joining us, excited to have you contributing your stories and insights. What do you think it takes to be successful?

It has been a struggle-free path for me so far when it comes to reaching my desired goals. Not many obstacles or challenges were truly faced in my journey of becoming a brand ambassador and Influencer. My advice to become successful would be to take your time and do not rush or force things. Know your audience, learn your niche, build your presence, and simply do not give up on yourself. Make sure you have a complete understanding of who you want to be and why. Whatever shall occur in the process is only going to be for the better and looking back when you’ve successfully achieved your goals, you will notice that.

Patrice , love having you share your insights with us. Before we ask you more questions, maybe you can take a moment to introduce yourself to our readers who might have missed our earlier conversations?

Born and raised in South Florida, I have a passion for creating content, editing, and publishing my ideas to social media. I mainly love marketing, product testing, giving feedback, and most of all earning commissions. At times, I will research items I have interest in and promote it in exchange for recognition and growth. Educational wise, I am a high school student that strives to do their very best in and outside of the classroom everyday. I am determined to put all of my effort into making exceptional grades to make myself happy.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

I began seeking and reaching out to companies/brands that offer great benefits such as collaboration opportunities and commissions frequently. Doing this has lead me to so many new and different ways to expand my social media presence. Currently, I am a brand ambassador and affiliate for over six companies and more to come in the near future. The more I post, the better I get at making content and putting everything together as this drives more potential followers and viewers to my profile.

What do you find most rewarding about being a creative?

I am becoming more recognized by sellers and brands which is exciting, and being contacted regarding a collaboration brings me so much happiness! I also recently found interest in being a product tester and reviewer as well. This aspect of influencing is sort of different from the others as it involves sellers and/or companies gifting you with free products in exchange for promotion. I consider this part of my influencing career the most rewarding and special as it informs me that my strategies and methods are paying off. Receiving product review (PR) packages can be hard to achieve especially in the beginning as I experienced this difficulty myself. Sometimes, I may not obtain the position of representing brands I would like to work with and that is completely okay! I still continue to advance and fulfill my dreams by doing what I do the the greatest.
