Patience , looking forward to hearing all of your stories today. Are you happier as a business owner? Do you sometimes think about what it would be like to just have a regular job?

Becoming my own boss was the best decision I ever made, I have had doubts at times on whether or not I should follow what my parents think.. and also what society typically considers is the successful path (go to college, get a good job, work until your 65) but the universe always had a way of simply showing this is not my route. I was in school for surgical technologies, and everyday I went into the hospital for clinicals I realized more and more how much a lot of people may not be necessarily happy with their chosen career path .. seeing frowned faces .. annoyed gestures .. tensity, was not my thing. I enjoy seeing the people I am around loving what they do, happy to be where they are everyday in life. Working a 9-5 I have never experienced this. Me and my clients come together for a good time, we make each other laugh, we tell stories and at the end we have created a masterpiece! This, too me, is by far the most flattering step I could have ever taken. No college or workplace would ever give me the joys day to day like the job I’ve given myself. I am an entrepreneur, and this is what god put me here to do.

Great, appreciate you sharing that with us. Before we ask you to share more of your insights, can you take a moment to introduce yourself and how you got to where you are today to our readers

I am a nail extension specialist, 5x certified and licensed I take an enormous amount of pride in my work. I also specialize in toes and cracked heel care. I aim to leave the client with beautiful nails, and soft silky feet. Feeling refreshed. I have been in the nail industry for 5 years and always aim to better my knowledge of my craft. Constantly investing into my mind to produce the best and highest quality service possible for my clients. I do short nails, long, plain, or glam. You name it. I have a service for anyone looking to be pampered. My favorite part about my job is the confidence I am able to give other women .. I am so proud to see my clients energy grow in such an amazing way in only a couple of hours from the time we sat down, to the time we finish. Making other women feel beautiful and amazing is simply a joy I could never speak enough words about, but it makes my heart truly happy and content.

Can you talk to us about how your funded your business?

I started out taking walk ins in a busy high end salon. I learned so much there, and am so grateful to have been given that opportunity during my beginning. This is what I used to start investing better in my nail products for higher quality. I took a leap of faith, and left the salon… which was scary I’ll say. But I made it through. From there I worked from home using what I could to invest into classes and product I needed. This was very, very slow at first but with patience picked up. Now, I am proud to say I’ve been able to invest into my first private suite! This is still in the works due to a brand new construction. But it is happening and I am so grateful for all the loyal clients that stayed down with me while I created a better environment for myself. I could not have done it without my girls.

Any insights you can share with us about how you built up your social media presence?

An advice I have for social media is staying consistent! Even if your engagement is very quiet keep going because there is always someone watching and waiting for your next move. You simply cannot see it but they are there.
